In 1981, Bruno Cremer starred in the first French stage production of "Bent", a play by Martin Sherman. Cremer played the lead role of Max, a gay man in Nazi Germany who is sent to the Dachau concentration camp.
The play premiered at the Théâtre de Paris on September 21, 1981.
The production was staged by Peter Chatel.
