it’s not discussed enough that everyone leaves azula except for ozai. zuko leaves due to his banishment, ursa leaves, even iroh. not to mention ty-lee joins the circus and mai goes to omashu. she literally has no one left but ozai. so it’s not wonder why her loyalty to her father is unwavering when he is the only one that ‘stays’.

𝙴𝙼𝙱𝙴𝚁 𝙸𝚂𝙻𝙰𝙽𝙳 𝚆𝙰𝚂 𝙶𝚁𝙴𝙰𝚃, until it wasn’t. it was true that no one recognised her, not at first, but they still stared. azula had put it down to nothing else but her incredible good lucks and utter alluring charm. confidence was, after all, 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚔𝚎𝚢 𝚝𝚘 𝚜𝚞𝚌𝚌𝚎𝚜𝚜. however there were always some who’s eyes would linger too long — attention that she would denounce as unnecessary. “ keep your eyes on me any longer and you will be lucky to leave with them still in their sockets. ” her voice was incredibly articulate in nature, but her tone would hold such a compromising note. words telling the story to run & evade the danger that was the fire princess — eyes glinted with the want for them to try her. “ did you hear me? 𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐬. now, are you deaf or just plain idiotic? ”
