The 2014 samba-enredo by Unidos da Tijuca in tribute to Ayrton Senna, featuring the song "Acelera, Tijuca."

The theme celebrated the 20th anniversary of Ayrton Senna’s legacy. With this samba, Unidos da Tijuca was crowned the grand champion of the Rio de Janeiro's Carnaval in 2014.

Gaviões da Fiel urgently needs to do a parade about Ayrton, because he brings us so much luck.

In 1995, the final float was a tribute to him; the samba school won the championship, and that song remains the most memorable theme-song in São Paulo’s carnival history [×].

In 2009, the parade was originally supposed to be about him, but they changed the theme to 'the wheel.' Even so, the introduction and the pre-chorus were composed using the melody of the 'Tema da Vitória' ["(...) When Sunday arrives on the TV screen / lap after lap, adrenaline and explosion / and among so many constellations, a star there in the sky / alongside Saint George, our patron / Ayrton Senna of the Fiel!"]. They finished in 4th place, which was Gaviões' last great performance until last year [×].
