In case anyone hasn't heard, the cyclospora outbreak affecting tons of people in the US right now is coming from Taylor Farms produce. Best to stay away from bagged lettuce and prepared salads completely right now, but especially the ones mentioned in the screenshot:

Taylor Farms Earthbound Farms Little Salad Bar (Aldi) Marketside (Walmart) Kroger House Brand Target private label greens Costco salads and greens etc Trader Joe's chopped salad kits and fresh produce Fast food: McDonalds, Taco Bell, (Yum! Brands), Chipotle, Subway, Pizza Hut, KFC, Olive Garden, Top Golf, Red Lobster, Burger King, etc.

This is not the first time I've heard about a Taylor Farms foodborne illness outbreak. I stopped eating their salads after reading a description of the conditions in their facilities. Doesn't sound like they've improved anything.

We need a fully funded and staffed FDA, and regulations with teeth - and that's exactly what we don't have under Trump. To make things worse, the CDC is no longer tracking these outbreaks. We're on our own.

Well.... my intuition had been telling me since Friday to follow up about the interview with the district lp manager for Home Depot. He nor the ap supervisor I interviewed with on Thursday ever followed up with me after, despite the ap supervisor telling me interview is set for Monday at 9a. I texted dlpm this morning at 8a, and he said he's not going to be there nor was aware he was conducting my final interview today. Okay. Cool.

So I ended up requesting to get back on the calendar for orientation at Allied Universal. I'm gonna just stick with them until I can find something better. I'm going to keep building up my savings and MAY make a jump back to Colorado Springs temporarily to get back into Target where people I know are and they know how I am and would support me coming back with no issues. I don't think I will EVER be able to get back into Target in the bay area while my former friend's ex wife is an etl with a lot of influence here. Final interview at Home Depot for the detective role is tomorrow morning. I do have a couple other opportunities that I am exploring. I was trying to go to Nevada in a year to a year and a half (eta), unless I decide to temporarily jump back to the springs (big emphasis on TEMP). If I am able to get back on track with steady income, which I think I will be ok... everything should be on track. I have already paid my credit card off, so those chains no longer exist. Started building the savings. Once I have a work schedule set SOMEWHERE and the next paycheck hits, I am getting a brand new phone.
