"Watch where you are going!" A man shouts at me. I keep my head down and avoid him. I can't risk getting caught and being sent back. Hybrids like me were kept as pets and I wanted to be free.
He grabs my arm and throws me on the ground. I can feel my wings break underneath my coat that I stole. I needed something to protect myself so I grabbed this as I escaped.
"Hey!" A voice yells from the dark ally way. A man emerges and walks over. I roll around in pain. He picks me up, "do not treat them like that!" The man grumbles and walks away.
"Are you okay?"
"No, I think I broke something..." I stare down at my feet.
"Let's get you somewhere safe..." He leads me to his apartment and I thank him.
"My name is Jeon Jung-kook, what is yours?"
I cry, "it is y/n, no one has ever been this nice to me..."
He smiles and pats my head, "there, there. Where does it hurt?"
"My wings... I think they are broken. I may never be able to fly again."
His eyes widen and then he grows silent, moving away from me. He tears off my coat revealing my yellow wings. Jungkook curses under his breath. "yeah, this looks pretty bad. What are you? a hybrid or something?"
"Yes. I escaped." I do not know why, but I trusted him. I begin to sing as it helps me calm down.
His nostrils flare, "shut the fuck up you ugly ass bird! I hate singing! Your wings suck!" He runs at me and picks me up, he throws me out the window.
