Have you ever lost your patience with a patient? (Pun intended)
An immediate instance comes to mind. There was a woman with her daughter. The daughter was due for a vaccination. Woman started talking about all these things she'd heard about how "bad" vaccines are and what they "caused" and whatever the arguments are nowadays. It was the end of a long week (merchant week, I love them, but, Archons there is not an injury they cannot get or a disease they cannot catch), so I was a bit tired and just wanted to vaccinate her daughter and get on with everything else. So, I detailed my every memory from the Chenyu Plague, and did not stop until I was finished.
She agreed to get her daughter vaccinated after that.
Dr. Baizhu takes over whenever someone starts to argue with me because his medical knowledge is more advanced than my own, so I don't have time to lose my patience. (He also takes over for more complicated questions, which is significantly more common, so if he ever takes over for you, please assume it's because "it's complicated" because that's what it is 19/20 times.)
Not a patient, but a merchant. Baizhu and Qiqi were collecting supplies at the market, Baizhu had given Qiqi a list, sectioned by stall; I was on her shoulders to make sure she got through everything alright. She was slow reading out names and numbers and counting Mora, but every merchant was kind about it. Except one, who got annoyed with her, so tore the list from her hands and grumbled about her while picking out goods. Qiqi started crying.
I bit him.
You bit him five times, and refused to let go when the Millelith got involved, then when I was trying to explain to them why they shouldn't arrest you, you finally got torn off him, only to yell every swear you know, no matter how ancient or outdated.
I wouldn't say funny, it's more than we're hot and working more call-outs than usual so our filters are failing slightly. There have been a couple, though.
As he was walking down the steps, patient coming up "Heat stroke, by chance? Join the queue!" *immediately turned around* "I'm really sorry, Qiqi's keeping reception cool with ice, I'm getting more rehydration packs and water, sit down, cool off, tell Gui your name, let him give you a quick exam. I'm sorry I said that." (The guy was laughing, though, so I think it went down alright.)
"Why are you complaining about the heat so much? You're cold-blooded." "Not anymore, bitch." And that really hit Baizhu because he was sat giggling at the desk for five minutes.
"Changsheng, do you think I've changed enough that I could get away with going back to Chenyu and laying in the river without being recognised?" "... You're the only person in Chenyu with glasses." The conversation kept going for a bit and I had to watch the both of them fail to ever register that Baizhu is recognisable because he has green hair and gold eyes.
