Dear jury, this man standing in front of you did nothing wrong. He took down a king, who stole all his people money in one night. After my client took over the kingdom’s prospered and the crime rate was at an all time low. He also gave the chance to have devil fruit powers to more than just the lucky or wealthy. And this wonderful thing brought smiles to many faces. He is also a family man, who took in people from a lot of different backgrounds. He even took in a child with white lead poisoning without any prejudice against him. But, just like all of us, he is not perfect. Had a rough past a complicated relationship with his brother. Still please hear me when I say that it was the better decision. His brother kidnapped a child and burned hospitals all over the world while the marines did nothing and even after all of those atrocious deeds my client still said that he loved his brother. And I swear on my belief in justice that all I said about this wonderful person is true. So please let him go free because he truly did nothing wrong.
