The Parents
chillintelâ:
Windchillâs brows furrowed, shielding a pair of concerned optics to watch Riot lower himself to his level, as usual. He appreciated the gesture and the willingness to compromise, but he also knew that Riot hated sand.
âYouâre gonna get grit in your bits doing that,â he scoffed, making eye contact with the semblance of a wry smirk. âI look forward to hearing you complain about it all night.â Windchill reached forward to tap a talon on the chestplate within his reach, taking a moment to get back on topic.
âComplications is putting it lightly. Iâm not exactly welcome on Cybertron.â
âThe things I do to show vulnerability, even if I know you could surplex me if you wished.â He buffed out his torso as the talon tapped against his chassis, giving off a cold laugh. The air seemed to ... Calm down a bit. âAre any of us?â Riot muttered, his optic behind his visor shimmering in thought, the war had taken its toll over their homeworld and every kin had been caught between. Riots youth made him even more ignorant. He didn't know the war like Windchill did, didnât know the two factions as well as he did and the pure cold blooded tactics both side could pull.
âDo you not have family left on the planet? I mean Cybertron... What about... Well, your daughter?â It had been in passing Windchills daughter had been mentioned. And it had been quite some time since she had come up... But Riot remembered.
