hhHi i apologise for comin into your asks randomly just a big fan cuz i like your analysis of both itrapped and chance especially chance cuz ive thought for ages that he has bpd or at least how theyre written would lend perfectly to a bpd interpretation

also (cw sexual assualt discussion) in a twitter thread you had with another artist you talked bout chance reading as someone whos been through sexual trauma im so glad someone else agrees with that. i feel like in a lot of his past relationships (including friendships) have been unspoken addendums btween "give me what i want or ill get sick of you and leave you" and that extended to sex as well. n his parents either brushed it off or just straight up forgot plus its taboo and "not a big deal anyways" so he just ignores n represses it

personal headcanon is they were in an abusive relationship fresh into uni (which they dropped out of after their first year) and cuz of that he just kind of stopped botherin to say no with that kind of stuff cuz he should enjoy it and if hes willin to give his friends/partners money and gifts this shouldnt be any different

i agree i think it's a general theme in his life and to 'cope' persay he's tried to romanticize or completely block out that part of their life. i would love to explore more of his character and will try to hopefully do the topics justice
