I do not think that the fandom has considered the fact that TwoTime may be intersex but amab as in labeled as male but not really physically male. They could have been labeled as male at birth, so they were named Thomas. And then they suddenly grew boobs one day(puberty) and everyone got confused, or something like that. I might make my TwoTime intersex, idk, I need to look into the different types of intersex first.

Aspen and Thomas are actually good names that make sense on a symbolic level.

Aspen as a tree symbolises independence, resilience and bravery, which we all know Aspen wanted to be independent from the cult, being brave enough to try and leave with Thomas the night before the sacrifice.

Thomas, as a religious name is the name of the apostle Thomas who didn't believe Jesus could resurrect until he saw it for himself. Sound familiar? Two Time's belief in the spawn only further increased after they gained the second life (being reborn in a sense) or maybe it can account for Aspen, with Two Time not knowing he had resurrected or doubting it until they saw the alive Aspen now forsaken.

Two Time was always meant to be a nickname given after the sacrifice, thus the two lives.

Azure was just a nickname he got while joining the cult, where he was probably referred to as such.

Idk if this makes me crazy since a lot of ppl seem to hate the name, but I actually love the new names.
