short answer? burnt out. long answer? Again- burnt out, but I sorta went into hiding on discord doing roleplays, videogames, and second guessing how I'm set up this account and building my community the main concerns being: A. building it mainly on fan content (noteably pokemon), kinda risks not being able to do more original stuff on here.. when people are expecting certain types of content, it means I'm much less likely to get engagement for my original art and even for fandoms other than pokemon. But also I'm on the spectrum, so I tend to jump between hyperfixations a lot, and it would be nice to bring in some of the other fandoms when I'm back knee-deep into their content nvn" B. Building my account on requests in particular, makes it so that once people have what they want or stop getting what they want they're less likely to stick around... and (despite most of what I was just saying) that doesn't bother me so much, my community has always been p small and tight-knit. but it felt like I had to keep up with requests and it became more of a chore than a fun little challenge to do... So- what does that mean for the pokedex challenge? Am I gonna just quit on it? Nahh, I'm too stubborn now to drop another project... but I am gonna limit it to gen 1 pokemon to start off with, and I'm going in dex order now (so it's no longer request based... sorry nvn") and for tumblr in particular, I'm gonna probably only keep the pokedex challemge blog up as an archive of sorts, but any new additions will be uploaded to @bugsthedragon-art I'll be trying to be more active on my main art blog @bugsthedragon-art going into the new year, and for those of you who've stuck around through this wall of text, I thank you!
