I like how this room is calm and relaxing. The browns and greys mix well, and it looks welcoming. The lights above the bed and above the tv work to make the room look brighter with the actual ceiling lights. I like how the wardrobe is in the wall and it has sliding doors, so it takes up less room.
I like how this room is white, but it has fluorescent lights that make it look more vibrant.
I like how open this room is, it has enough space around to make it look big, the feature wall stands out and I like the open window behind the couch, it makes the room lighter. I think the designer did well contrasting the black, grey and white; they work well together.
I like how this Interior has captured contemporary and historic aspects as they blend well; the brown, cream and white look good together. The piano in the corner gives the room an elegant feel to it.
You can tell by the objects around the room that it is a child's room; I like how the colours work well to make the space bright and welcoming.
This interior possesses certain ‘Art Deco’ qualities, as the two main colours used are black and white. I love how slick and “clean-cut” the design is; and, although its inspiration is from an art movement from the 1920s, it appears very modern. The sudden bursts of turquoise blue add depth to the design.

I like the light above the bar, and the turquoise caught my eye, in the corner. I think it would have worked better if there was more turquoise as it would make the room seem less dark.
I love the use of this material in interior designs; these are tiles that give the impression of bricks, but without the hassle. Also, I find that the “shiny”, or reflective, smooth texture of this material ensures that it is eye catching; it also means that it is easy to clean, so is convenient.

I agree, the bricks being tiles seems more efficient as they would be better for the house, and would be easier to clean, having actual bricks tends to attract spiders.
The way in which this room has been designed is really clever; however, I find it rather “busy” and overpowering. I do like the way that the “zig-zag” theme has been altered slightly, (I.e. the colour changes), as it adds depth.

I don't like how the zig zag shapes blend into the bed and mirror. I think it would be more effective if they were spread out a bit more. But I do like the purple against the white.
I quite like interiors inspired by ‘Swedish’ design as they look very “clean-cut” and uncluttered. Although some appear basic, I really like the way that this designer has used the small amount of space available in this apartment; I.e. the functions of three rooms have been combined and put into one living space. As seen above, this room is a living room, bedroom and office. I also like the use of light wood for flooring as it brightens the room up.
I like how the wooden floor takes away some of the brightness from the walls, however I'm not too keen on having 3 rooms in 1, it doesn't seem right to mix the lounge, bedroom and office like that.
I like this style of Interior the best, because the light colours make the space feel open and the wall of windows emphasises the size. The splash of brown makes it look more homey, so it looks more lived in.
Found object task- I made drink coasters by weaving playing cards together so that they formed a solid, “squared” shape; this meaning that they can be picked up and used with ease. However, if they were laminated they would be more durable.
Wow, I love this idea. It a nice abstract piece, and I like how you thought to weave them together.
Although the idea of the floor and the sofa being combined is cool and unique, I could imagine that this would become quite impractical after a while; however it all depends on the tastes of the users :)
I like how it has been combined into a bed and a couch, its a great idea. However, I agree that it could be a pain after a while.
I love the way that this room has been designed. The simple, modern furniture creates a calm environment; however, the unusual slide, (that act as a replacement for stairs), contrasts the simplicity of the room and cause it to appear “playful”- I.e. a perfect setting for a child’s playroom. :)
I love this; the yellow really stands out against the white walls, and the slide is a great idea. :)

I have used 3 mugs, some string and a coat hanger to create a decorative candle holder for a home. Unfortunately, I did not have any tea light candles to show the product in use but I have checked the dimensions of an average tea light candle it’s the dimensions of the mug to make sure it will fit comfortably. This also means that the product could be created for any type of room using different colour, different themed and even different shaped mugs.
I like this idea, it's really clever, and it seems as though you've put a lot of thought into it.
