Being a little or caring for a little with an eating disorder rant:
I hate to admit it, but I’ve been battling an eating disorder for years, and nearly every time i had, or nearly had, a daddy; their response to my eating disorder was either to: 1.) Pretend it didn’t exist 2.) Tell me to eat or “be punished” 3.) Try to get me to eat my buying me all my favorite junk foods and candies. 4.) Tell me I’d look better with a few more pounds on me
Nooooo!!!!!! Nonononononooo!!!
If you are a daddy, or if you’re a little in this situation tag your daddy, YOU NEED TO MAKE US FEEL GOOD ABOUT OURSELVES! You need to tell us that you love us just the way we are!
If i say something like
“I haven’t eaten today”
Instead of saying “Oh what if i buy candy?” Or “You know the rules, eat or you’ll get your stuffie taken for a night”
Say something like
“Love, you are sooo beautiful. I hate to see you suffer. Please eat for daddy. Even just one granola bar will make me happy.”
And then when we do tell us we did good! Encourage it!
But if we refuse, don’t guilt trip us. Do not guilt trip us. You’re going to give us an anxiety attack.
Just try to encourage us a little more. Tell us about how it makes you happy when you know our tummys are full, and how we need food for energy for playtimes.
Underline, highlight, bold all of this. Part of this is people not being educated about different eating disorders
I am so so lucky.
Eee i took my own 1000 note hehe
