FALLING IN LOVE WITH A WONDERLAND CALLED BOHOL (PHILIPPINES)
Have you been here to Bohol? If, not well, this is the perfect place for you. Because bohol has everything you're dreaming of...
And today as you continue reading my journey around Bohol. Just imagine or pretend that the person who is travelling is you not me. Okay let's get it started.
So in here, I mainly came for 3 reasons:
First is to visit the magnificient Chocolate Hills, the Chocolate Hills are by far the most popular tourist attraction on Bohol Island and once you see it, it’s easy to understand why. Here lay hundreds of symmetrical green mountainous hills as far as the eye can see.
During the dry season, these hills take on a milk-chocolate color- hence “Chocolate Hills”. During the rainy season, they are lush and green. In here its a great time to have a picture taking to cherish the beauty of chocolate hills. And also fall in love with the cuddly tarsiers. Tarsiers are considered a “dependent” species meaning that they cannot thrive in the wild on their own. Every visit to the Tarsier Conservatory helps fund efforts and habitat to keep these cute little creatures alive.
The next destination that we will be going is the man made forest in Bilar, Bohol. Man-made mahogany forest stretching in a two-kilometer stretch of densely planted Mahogany trees located in the border of Loboc and Bilar towns. Before and after this man-made forest are the naturally grown forests of Loboc and Bilar which are thick with a kaleidoscope of green foliage, different species of trees and giant ferns lining the road. The forest that the trees breath, creating a breezy atmosphere that is much cooler than the outside. In their shade, I gadded in awe, hypnotized by the wind ceiling above me and completely forgetting that the road I was walking on was a highway.
The hanging bridge in Sevilla, Bohol was a great experience too. Why? Because here's the challenging part their bridge tends to sway forward and backward and swings sideways too. It gives a nerve wracking experience, but inspite of that it is very awesome and fun. It is really advisable to hold tight so you don't thrown off. At once end of the bridge there are a little souvenier and beverage too.
And ofcoarse the last destination that I will be sharing to you is the Sikatuna Mirror of the World , what I loved about this place is that the park has been set up as a lovely botannical garden filled with palms, orchids amd other tropical flora. All this in a beautiful setting where you can soak of the beauty of a natural surroundings. There is also a collection of famous statues and structures form around the world where you can take pictures on it as if you are in other countries. There are lots of chairs scattered around the garden to sit and enjoy the serenity. So what are you waiting for? Book a ticket now and travel to Bohol with your special someone or with your friends. Because the word Bohol is everything you're dreaming of.
