I made a Redundant Clock.
So didn't succeed - as expected. Finished in 46ish mins and had to walk some hills after the 5km mark. BUT I ran a 4:08km (PB) a 6:52 mile (PB) and a 25:29 5km (decent). And all this considering it was over 30 degrees and the course was super duper hilly. Ridiculously so. Overall pretty happy. Time to find some aircon
This is my first race since doing a half marathon and I'm a bit scared, because I have barely run at all in the last month - and what I did do you could hardly call training. Plus - this is the first race which I've qualified for, so now I'm in the 'race pack'. On the website it said that this was for anyone who could complete the 8kms in under 45 minutes, but on the back of the bib it says cutoff time is 40 minutes. I can barely do a 40min 8km on flat let alone hills. So I'm scared. But excited too :) races are fun and I always get more motivation to run again after them. Doesn't always last long though.
