Nix looked a little worried. “… Um … J-Just regular fish is fine.”
“As you wish,” Loki said, “but I’ll have you know I’m an amazing cook and it’s your loss if you refuse to eat what I prepare for you.”

“I apologize,” Loki said sincerely. “It was the only info I could find on your eating habits, and it’s not like you ever told me what you do eat,” he explained. “I’m not even of this world, you can’t expect me to know everything about every creature that lives in here, specially when not even those who are actually from here do,” the god stepped away and walked towards the kitchen, as he continued speaking. “If you want to be mad at me for this one honest mistake, I can’t stop you, but as I said, we can still share the vegan pizza. Luna will gladly feast on the other one and I can just put another pizza in the oven while we eat the first one,” he offered, serving the meaty one to his cat after cooling it down just enough for her not to get hurt. “Unless, of course, you no longer wish to stay and actually let me get to know you just enough so I can cook for you without offending you, in which case I will walk you back home and I won’t bother you again.”

Nix knocked on the door, standing nervously. He did not know what to expect..
Loki opened the door with a big smile on his face.
“Hello, gorgeous,” he greeted, “come on in!”
The siren smiled, stepping inside and looking around in curiosity. “Hello, Loki. Where are we going…? I-i don’t have nice clothes to wear so..”
“Well,” Loki said, “I don’t know how comfortable you are being with me in public, so I kind of set everything right here… I made us some pizza and I bought us this wonderful sangiovese wine I’m sure you’ll love. I was thinking maybe we could have a nice dinner together and watch a movie or something and then go for a walk at the beach under the stars.”
Nix smiled, cheeks blushing as Loki described the night. “… It sounds fancy even though you did not do much.” He paused looking at Loki with a tilt of his head, “… What is pee…zah and whine?”
“Pizza is an Italian dish, it’s basically a special kind of bread with tomato, cheese and a bunch of other delicious stuff on top,” he explained, “and wine is an alcoholic beverage, but I doubt it’ll have any effect on us,” Loki spoke as he walked into his living room, expecting Nix to follow. “I also have some garlic bread for us to have while we wait for dinner,” the god announced.
Nix blinked, following slowly. “It sounds… great.” He said slowly as he moved to grab Loki’s hand, squeezing his fingers.
"One of the pizzas has actual human flesh in it because I read somewhere that your species eats it, but if you don't want that, I'll just give it to my cat and we can share the vegan one," Loki said, holding Nix's hand.
