Does Dabi hate Shoto?

I’d say the answer is yes, or at least he is not the protective villain brother that we would like to believe.

I think Dabi is fully aware that the true monster that destroyed his family is Endeavor and no one else. However, when Shoto arrived Endeavor put him on a pedestal and started treating his brothers like trash. But Touya received the worst of Endeavor’s mistreat.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying Dabi is jealous of Shoto and hates him because he didn’t receive enough attention. Touya is the eldest and as we know his power is greater than Endeavor’s, but his body is too weak. So when Shoto was born, Touya not only received the abuse of his father, he was displaced.

So Touya doesn’t only feel jealous or angry because he “didn’t receive enough attention”.

Touya feels like a disposable person.
