Flannery had just gotten through a battle with her sixth trainer of the day... It’s amusing that these noobs are so cocky in thinking this fire-based gym would be so easy! Unfortunately she, along with her team, are exhausted to hell and back. It’s time to hit the PokeCenter, heal up, eat up, and relax. 

Just as the red-head and that trainer are leaving, she suddenly came to a stop at the woman stood outside. “--Sorry, miss. Gym’s closed for the rest of the day... If ya come back tomorrow I’ll be open at 9 AM again.”

“... ‘less you’re just checking out the exterior of my gym. Then by all means, have at it.”

Flannery decided to take a trip away from Lavaridge for a couple of days, it being the weekend and all. Might as well make full use of it, and the weather has been all wonky in her home place... so she’s going to get away from it. Rain mixed in with cold just isn’t her style; neither is water. Lilycove has one of the biggest shopping stores in the region, though. New Pokegear and clothes is a must! Especially for said weather. 

What wasn’t expected had been seeing someone that stood out quite a lot among the people; having some white hair with cute pigtails. Even the get-up had been an eye catcher; maybe an ice user? That’s a wild guess just from looks alone; since most single based trainers usually dress to be matchy-matchy. 

The hot head just can’t help herself when seeing something so unique, she has to introduce herself! Especially flashing off her Litten, Teddy. Since she and he alike enjoy meeting new people, it’s one of the many pros to being a gym leader... meeting everyone! 

“-- Hi there! Sorry to be so sudden, I just wanted to meet’cha! I’m Flannery. gym leader at Lavaridge and holder of the Flame Badge. I take great pride in my fire types, and this is Teddy--” 

The cat is already meowing away, purring happily at being introduced. He must like her!

There’s a quick and audible gasp from Flannery, once seeing the tall man in red. She’s seen a few people here and there who’s color scheme had been such a nice shade, but his is definitely much rarer... even better looking! The woman wasted no time in going up to him; examining over the length of this trench coat, along with the sleeves.

“--Dude!! This is like, so freaking awesome! Where did you get it!? I need to get myself one! Imagine how much more bad ass I’d be as a gym leader!”

The two have been separated a great deal again, due to it being a long distance relationship. Fortunately, there’s a festival happening in the Alola Region, something both women wanted to desperately attend. Trainers and Gym Leaders alike shown up from all over the world; it’s a pretty big deal!

“Ahhh-- Sabrina!”

Flannery’s grip around the psychic user is tight, even planting a few kisses to her cheek. It’s nice to see her girlfriend again, to physically be together. Honestly, the only reason the hot head came to this thing was for Sabrina. If she weren’t there, what’s the point? Sure, there could be a few people here worth challenging... Training a bit even. Enjoying the Alola Islands themselves... still not worth it in her eyes.

“I’m so glad you’re here, babe! C’mon, c’mon, let’s go get our hotel room and let the Pokemon relax--” She’s talking fast but is suddenly cut off due to Litten coming out of his pokeball. There’s a glimmer, though only for a few moments before it disperses. He made his way up to Flannery’s shoulder, pouncing on over into Sabrina’s arms;

“--Aw, look at that. Even Teddy’s so excited he couldn’t even stay contained. I don’t blame the little guy.”
