Continuing with the idea of showing my gratitude towards the people that have had a positive impact on my life; whether they know it or not, and using #followfriday as an outlet towards that goal. Last week we introduced Paul Yoo, Katie Gould, and Teddy Moynihan. I’m super excited to intro you to Beatrice Chastka (@beatricechastka) and Nikita Hamilton (@nikitathamilton) When you’re able to juggle working with @workatnbcu @fxnetworks and successfully defend a doctoral dissertation, then you’ll might have a small idea of how intellectually powerful and creative our friend @nikitahamilton truly is. She has completely opened my eyes to the impact of representation in media and I haven’t consumed media the same way since! Creative, talented, all around super nice person. These are just a few words that come to mind when describing our friend Beatrice! Building her career as a prop stylist, she has been doing fantastically beautiful work with @epicurious @gffmag and @papillonthemag, if only every photo I take could be as beautiful as hers are! Please give them both a follow: each has a beautiful view of the world, unique to their own experiences and I’m grateful to have met both through my amazing wife @mrsvanillaweiss (at Women)
