For those unaware, tumblr staff has (probably been forced to by shareholders) updated so that each post is it's own post with it's own notes. Threads are still connected and can still be trimmed and reblogged, however each roleplay reply will have it's own set of notes (likes, reblogs, etc.). While it doesn't seem like the RPC will be affected compared to many of the other communities on tumblr, please be aware to check the notes of the previous thread reply to make sure you didn't miss anything, and use the drafting system to bookmark your WIP replies if you haven't already.

𝐨𝐡   𝐡𝐞𝐲   !       i   personally   tend   to   write   on   the   dash   for   my   blogs   and   have   some   private   discord   servers   with   people   i   am   close   with   to   write   in!       i   have   never   done   anything   through   tumblr   ims   as   they   are   soooooo   unreliable   in   my   experience.       i   am   sure   that   is   something   some   people   do   its   just   not   for   me!

remove the ugly image border update

this is working as of february 10th 2026 . please check for any updates that may be made in the future ! if you would like to know how to remove the rounded corners on images here is the code for that . if you'd like to remove the border around posts here is the code for that too . unfortunately, images being blurred in this new update doesn't seem to be fixable beyond making sure the images are less than 540px wide .

to make the required changes, you will need to get the stylus extension that you can grab at the following links : chrome , firefox , opera , github .

firstly, you must write a new style by clicking on the plus sign . name it tumblr or something similar, just so you know what it's for . then, change the code 1 dropdown to urls on the domain - in the box type : tumblr.com .

copy & paste the following code into the big box below & then click on save next to the beautify button on the left-hand side .

once you've done that, refresh your tumblr & you should see that the image borders are gone & the weird padding on the sides of the images is also gone, so they're flush against the edges of posts again .
