But seriously, what is the psychological consequence of being required to wear an uncomfortable article of clothing every single day? What are the consequences of associating that uncomfortable clothing with being in public and social situations? And the required uncomfortable clothing is very expensive, and finding a comfortable one is borderline impossible to the point where the vast majority of women just accept this daily background discomfort. EVERY DAY. AT ALL TIMES. What does it do to a person to train them to accept physical discomfort as a fact of life? Oh my god it's horrifying
