Just to keep you informed - The Jungfraus will be playing a couple of gigs at the Cavern Club in Liverpool on Thursday 14th and Saturday 16th May. It’s all part of International Pop Overthrow Festival 2015, an amiable and enviable venture that has been touring that festival atmosphere to cities around the world.

On Monday 9th December 2013, The Jungfraus released their eponymous debut album. Recorded over the last two years, it features nine hypercoloured psych pop odysseys written and played by the group and produced by Nick Alexander, Dominic James and engineered by Phil Meredith.
The Jungfraus are delighted to be playing as part of the monthly Interstellar Overdrive event at Fuel Cafe in Withington for a very special gig - soundtracking the entire visuals from Alejandro Jodorowsky's surrealist classic the Holy Mountain. Expect not only the typical Junfraus core, punchy rock and roll psych out but also extra jams, rare 'B-sides', some acoustic exploration and some pre-recorded electronic madness. A one-of-a-kind gig, not to be missed. With support from Hopper Propelled Electric, this is a FREE ENTRY GIG! Get there early to as space is limited.
The Garage Live is internet music TV show based in South Shields, and they have included Tom Hollingworth on the line-up of their most recent episode. First on, Tom talks about his band Lunar Bells and performs Rise and Get Snocking from The Moonstruck Confederate.
Along with Bone-Box, The Jungfraus are providing support for this special Manchester show at the Ruby Lounge by actor Paddy Considine's band, Riding the Low. Paddy was inspired to form the band after seeing Robert Pollard live and if Guided By Voices aren't a good reason to start a band, nothing is. Get in touch if you want guest list tickets at half price.
Proud Proud People will be playing at Manchester's Cunning Folk Festival this summer, on the 10th August. Not to mention long time faves and old time pals, Politburo.

Sorry it has been a while...
...but a few things have been distracting us here at Butter Bridge. First and foremost, we've had a new arrival. Three months ago she was 7.5lb and now she's almost double that, and she goes by the name of Islay. She's very pretty and I might be persuaded to put a photo of her up at some point.
With that out the way, a lot has been happening within our family. First and foremost, our prodigal Nantwich boys (formerly SiS... you know what I mean...) have done us proud and graduated to Denizen Recordings. They go by Weirds now and we'll continue to post those talented boys' work... but with exposure in NME, US radio, and last weekend's Tramlines in Sheffield, they hardly need it!
Tom Hollingworth (therunningchelsea... well... stopped...) continues to play gigs through the North East and more music is on its way. More news from him over the summer.
Proud Proud People have new songs and will be recording this summer, as well as landing a new gigs in and around Manchester.
And you'll have probably noticed a few bits and pieces posted from The Jungfraus, a tremendously exciting up and coming psych-pop outfit based in Manchester. They've finished their recording and are mixing a first album. Plenty to feed through here over the next few weeks until its release in September.
We'll go into more detail in the future, but for now, please accept our apologies! Our thoughts are with you in this difficult time.

Politburo are The Jungfraus older cousin. We learnt a lot from them, probably without realising it. I've finally got round to listening to their album that was so long in development, it was giving birth to other little albums. Sally & Prinss Revisited has to be listened to. Hearts of the future have special places set aside for this album - yours could be one of them. Please do listen.
