HAUS : Kitchen - a base game kitchen recolour.
alongside my HAUS : Kitchen set, i have created a recolour of my favourite base game kitchen. i personally use this kitchen in alot of my builds as i've been creating a minimal cc save file the last year or so.
i know this isn't anything revolutionary & won't be for those who are heavy cc builders, but i was going to create this for my personal save so i thought i would tie it in with the release of my newest set.
HAUS : Kitchen - a sims 4 custom content collection.
introducing the second part of my HAUS collection. this set focuses on kitchen clutter & honestly the kitchen aid mixer. kitchens are my favourite room in a house to decorate & i love having some good clutter i can easily grab from the catalog so, i made my own!
i've wanted to create this exact kitchen aid mixer for months so i practically built the whole set around that lol.. these items will go seamlessly with both haus : dining & vertuo in your sims kitchens.
this set is paired alongside a base game kitchen recolour i made.. details will be in a separate post that can be found here.

As many of you know, in January I introduced Better Pet Nutrition, a mod that adds a pet feeding system for The Sims 4.
I truly felt that a deeper nutrition system for pets was missing from the game, and I’m incredibly grateful for the warm welcome this mod received. Thank you all so much for the support - it means a lot to me 💖

In February I continued developing the project and added homemade pet treats, allowing Sims to prepare their own treats for cats and dogs.
Everything is created with love for our pets and for the game.
Last week Better Pet Nutrition was also featured as a Hidden Gem on CurseForge💎. Being noticed by the CurseForge team was a truly beautiful and emotional moment for me, and I’m very thankful for this recognition❤️

I made a filter for my sims story and idk if i like it
hey! a few people asked me how i got my last post to look so ‘smooth’, so i figured i’d share my super roundabout way of taking screenshots of my sims for edits. this is 100% not the Best way to get good quality screenshots, but i do what i do lol. from what i can tell, this works the same no matter what reshade/if you use reshade or not!

Screenshot Guide - Part 3: “Add Depth + Framing/Blocking” I’m on a roll right now so here is part 3 of my screenshot guide! A big struggle with telling a story via film or pictures is that a picture is 2D but we live in a world that is 3D. You want to draw the viewer into your fictional world but having a world that looks flat can break the illusion quickly. So it’s important to add depth! An easy way to do that is to create different layers in your pictures and choose clever angles to create the illusion of depth. Depth of field also helps a lot with that since in real life things that are far away appear more blurred than things up close.
Blocking certain parts of your foreground also helps to direct the viewer’s attention to a certain subject. Keep an eye out for things that are placed around the world to use this technique or furnish your sets accordingly!

Screenshot Guide - Part 2: “180 degree rule” This tip left some people confused in my preview post so I decided to add a little sketch to help visualize it better. The line of action is an imaginary axis that follows the action of the scene. So if two sims are talking for example the line of action runs from one sim to another. In the other example the Sim is walking towards the fridge to grab something from it. In that case the line follows the path of the sim. It doesn’t matter which side of the line of action you place your camera. The only thing important is to stay on this side with the next shot. This is less confusing for the person who’s looking at your pictures and it’s easier for them to follow the scene and place your sims inside the “set”/room. If you pay attention the next time when you’re watching a movie or tv show you can see this technique applied in almost every scene! If you have any questions feel free to ask!
