I make love to burdens wrapped over my soul.

A dead dove to thank for the valley I’m in.

It died when I clung on too tight to its wings.

Its soft voice had sung to me, shunning my sins.

I’ve always wished that my emotions would float.

But I’ve frayed this map and I can’t find the path.

I’m flanked by my demons and scared of their wrath.

They tell lies and feed on the dove that had passed.

When I’m broken I’m so easily controlled.

If I slow down time could I relight the fire?

Do I dare stay quiet in the Devil’s choir?

Should I care that I don’t know what I desire?

Am I a lion that submits to its prey?

I could have peace if I die like I’m asked.

Or am I just a crack growing in the glass?

Slowly sliding until I finally break.

Oh, rainbows fall on my head,

With someone’s gun to my head.

I’ve realized that I have severe hyper fixation, to the point that when something I’ve become obsessed with is coming to an end, I genuinely get anxiety about it lol. The first time I felt this was when I read the Harry Potter books, and I loved them so much that I was practically depressed for the next week after I finished the series, because I wanted it to keep going, and know more about the characters. I think I have a problem 😭

PS. What's the hardest difficulty you played over any Halo game? For me it was Heroic on Halo 4, almost cried at the end because it was THAT HARD for me.

My cats are weird lol

I spent nearly a year doing it, but about a month ago I finally finished beating every Halo game in the main series on legendary(halo 1-6, Reach & ODST). Halo 1 and 2 are terribly hard lol. The promethean knights in Halo 4 are very tedious tho, and the Warden boss fights in 5 are the bane of my existence

Nina updates! Nephrologist + exams + prescriptions

Her kidneys are stable, which was what concerned me the most so that's a big relief. The vet wants to see us in six (!!) months from now because the treatment seems to be working well. We'll keep doing the fluid therapy + suplements.

Unfortunately, she has some changes in her digestive tract that did not improve with anti-inflammatories, so the vet suggested we see a gastroenterologist. I will keep everything updated but that is also something that is scaring me at the moment.

I want to thank everyone that helped us again because this would not have been possible without you. You're giving my baby quality of life and me the joy of having her around for a longer time ❤️‍🩹
