her intensions had been to make her way home , or what she was now calling home. yet, the distinct feeling that someone needed help remained with her. tracing the grounds, moving into the woods where a feeling of insecurity soared within her. she had spent an eternity away from those she loved, her once admirations now replaced with resentment, anger , she grieved for what she had. she did however, wish to feel useful. lingering along the outskirts, her vision fixated upon the wolf, keeping her distance. "not boyd but -- are you ok?"
a shaky hand clutched at her chest, fingertips running over the tattered fabric of her shirt. the blonde's heart was racing, the beating ringing in her ears. an unfamiliar voice tore erica out of her state of panic, for now at least. instead, the woman immediately took up defense. her gaze found that of the other through the darkness, blinking slowly as she made an attempt at centering herself, at focusing on her enhanced senses, making sure that she was in a position to protect herself should the other blonde prove to be an enemy, rather than an ally. clearing her throat, erica gave a curt nod of her head. "i think so. i.. must have had too much to drink last night." maybe she should have tried being a little more convincing with that statement.
