Broken wings. 🌌Open🌌
Being a demon had its perks. A lot of them. But then there were days like today that killed her.
Dallas was remembering. Remembering what she did, who she hurt, who she killed, everything bad she’s done. When these moments appeared, she laid in the middle of an abandoned road, her wings outstretched as she laid on her back and watched the stars. She couldn’t fly again. She longed to, being in the sky was her favorite place to be but after she ran into Lucifer, he burned her wings beyond any repair.
They looked like bones, charred feathers littered these bones along with red feathers in patches. They were broken wings. Her broken wings.
As she laid on this road, she had hoped no cars would appear due to its key word of being an ‘abandoned’ road. But, when she heard a car in the distance she sighed but didn’t move. She just laid there. Not like being ran over would kill her anyway but hey it was worth a shot right?
A disappointed sigh left her when she heard said car screech to a halt and you get out of the car, she hoped there would be no questions. But, this she hoped for hadn’t gone right yet.

♣ — Tickle my muse!
The moment Wilford felt fingers on his sides he immediately jumped up, out of reach. “Nuh uh, no way, no way, sweetheart…~” he said; he was very, very ticklish.
“Awww don’t take the fun out of it! Come here!” She giggled, lunging up and tickling his sides again. “Remember babe, I run fast and can catch you.”
Wilford burst into a fit of giggles and tried to fend her off, tried to tickle her back, tried just about everything. “Noooo!!~”
"Yesssss" she giggled, her own sides that he tried to tickle were just as ticklish as his, but she tried to go through the tingling sensation and continue tickling him

The next day Ponyboy breathlessly burst into Dallas’s hospital room. “Hey Dallas! We got em!”
Sodapop came in afterwards, rolling his eyes, a hand wrapped tightly around Allison’s upper arm. “He’s so excited, I don’t get it. It was just some Socs.”
Dallas giggled at his excitement, the movement causing a sting in her side. "Thank you boys." Allison quickly got out of Sodas grip and walked over to Dallas and sat down. "They said you wanted to talk to me and Cherice?"
"Yes I did. You and her both know Joey did this. It's no question, I need you two to write out a statement, stating what you've seen Joeys do and how he's acted the whole time we were together." Dallas said, looking to Allison.
Allison shook her head. "I ain't doing it. Joey and I are a thing now, I won't do that to him--"
Dallas cut her off by reaching and grabbing the collar of her jacket. "Listen here, I don't give a damn if you two are together or not. You and cherice help me out or I tell the cheer coach your little ritual before practice. Understand me?" Her tone was low and cold, fire in her eyes as she glared into Allisons.
"Y-yes Dallas I-I'll get it done let me go please." Dallas forcefully pushed her back into her chair, "You can leave now. I expect those ran by my house tonight." And with that the girls left.
Dallas ran her hands through her hair, sighing. "Are you guys up for helping me break out of here too or would you like to be law abiding citizens who didn't see me leave?" She asked the boys, sitting up a bit more.

Dallas’s last few hunts hadn’t gone well, and she was seriously feeling the starvation and the need for blood. She tried blood bags and they just weren’t cutting it, she needed fresh blood and she needed it soon. “H-hey babe.” She said shakily, trying to hide how hungry she was. It was hard to be home, all she heard was Crys’ heartbeat and it’s like she could hear the blood in his veins. [[ @cryatoicwerewolf ]]
Cry had been scrolling through different apps on his phone when Dallas had walked in. He kept his eyes trained on the screen as he listened.
“Hey, babe,” He hummed, then paused. He looked up at her, “Are you alright? You don’t look too good.”
“Huh? Oh yeah I’m fine, just need some water and I’ll be good.” She said, drinking the glass of water in her hand. “Whatcha doin?”
“… Alright. And I’m just going through my phone since I don’t know what else to do,” He replied. He turned off the phone and set it in his lap, “Are you sure you’re okay?”
“Positive. Ya don’t gotta worry about me.” She said, lying but he didn’t need to know that. As long as none of his blood showed up in say a cut or something she could stay relatively normal. “Wanna make lunch?”
“Uhh,” He furrowed his brows lightly, “Sure? What do you want to make?” He leaned forward to slouch, hands fiddling with the phone.
Dallas wiggled onto his lap and looked up at him through his arms. “I dunno. You craving anything?” She asked, the whites if her eyes tried to turn red but she fought it off as best she could.
He shrugged, “No, not really,” He said, “I’m up to–” He paused, squinting when he noticed a brief flicker in her eyes, “Uh– ‘M up to eat anything, really.” He hugged Dallas and stared at her eyes for a second, “How quickly do your eyes usually change, hun?”
"Just depends on moods and whatnot. Why?" She asked, though she knew. "As for food how about... I don't know... sandwiches or somethin'."
Is big bad Lucifer visiting for a bit I take it?
“You’d be correct.”
“Whale then. Hey hi hello.”
“Is that all you wanted to say?” Lucifer said, sounding unimpressed.
"Not necessarily. I'd like to hold a conversation but you and I have noting in common to talk about." She shrugged, looking up at him.

“The cheerleader broads?” Dally chimed in, shaking his head. “There’s no way they’ll go anywhere with any of us, they’d rather be kidnapped and killed than step into a car with a bunch of Greasers.” The others murmured their agreement.
“Then kidnap them if you have to. I already have a cover story if they open their mouths.” She said. She knew her father too well. She needed the girls statements, and if she had to leave this hospital bed to get them then she would.
Dally put a hand over the mouthpiece of the phone. “She wants us to kidnap them anyway. Said she’s got a plan.”
“No, no way.” Ponyboy vehemently shook his head. “We are not kidnapping a bunch of Socs, that’s gonna get us in jail with Dark.”
Dally nodded and put the phone to his ear again. “Dallas? Yeah, Ponyboy said he’s all in, when and where would be a good time? After school maybe?”
“I did not! Dally what the hell man, I do not want to kidnap the head cheerleaders!”
“That’s a perfect time. Those two hang just behind the school for ten minutes before cheerleading practice. There’s enough room to pull a car up and push em in. Then bring them here. Unless them being here is too much trouble, I can try to break out but I don’t know if I can.” She said. What had she turned into? She was kidnapping her friends to put up a defense for a greaser. She smiled at the thought, he was her villain and this was going to be the story that the villain was saved.
“Sounds good, we’ll do it tomorrow. Hey, Dallas, how are you doing? Ponyboy said he heard Joey got your ribs pretty bad. How’re you holding up?”
“I’m breathing.” She chuckled, though that hurt to do. “Yeah he broke two of em I guess, at least that’s what the doctor said. And lots of bruises but that’s nothing new of course. I take it he bragged about it?” She asked, shooing away a nurse who tried to get her to get off the phone.
Dally shook his head. “Not openly. We heard it from the other Socs gossiping about why you were gone, he probably knows you’re going to try and help Dark and wants to keep it under the table for now.”
“Sadly he does have brains when he decides to. Well, I’m being rush to give the phone back so I’ll talk to you guys whenever I guess. In the meantime if you can, see if you can get some people to write some statements. The nerd group would be willing for sure but I don’t know out them if they saw anything.” She sighed, rubbing her eyes. “Anyway I better go, Goodnight Dally. And tell the guys I’m gonna do everything I can to get Dark out, this is on me.”
“We’ll do what we can. Goodnight Dallas, get a loads of rest, we can’t save Dark on our own. Good luck.” He hung up the phone and shrugged. “Guess we gotta save Dark by kidnapping a bunch of Socs and bribing people to write statements sayin it was Joey that beat her up.”
Dallas stared at the ceiling for quite awhile. Tossing and turning. She had slept for awhile the day before and now was not anywhere near tired enough to sleep, not only did the pain she felt prevent it but she was thinking of how to help Dark.
She needed to get out of this hospital and to her legal books. She needed to do something besides lay here.
“It sounds perfect to me.” She smiled at him, trying reassure his shyness that today would be a wonderful day. Once she was inside the car she buckled in, checked her phone for anything from work then yet again smiled at Dili. “It’s a good thing lunch is first because I’m starving.” She giggled softly, looking to the road when he started driving.
Diligitis cracked a small smile and nodded, pressing a few buttons on the small screen near the dashboard. He let go of the wheel, crossing his legs against the seat, and the car began easily driving itself. “I know a really good place near here, and I thought you’d like it. It’s mostly a burger place, but they manage to make burgers look elegant,” he said with a small chuckle. “They also have great desserts. Do you like sweet things?”
"I love burgers and sweet things." She chuckled, leaning back a bit in her seat. "This is.. its cool but weird." She said, looking at all the bells and whistles in the car and watching how it drove itself. "Technology really has come a bit far these days."
