"Deranged" (también conocido como "OCD" en sus versiones más tempranas) es una historia de detectives centrada en Chris Hemston, un detective de homicidios que regresa a la acción luego de un año lejos del servicio activo debido a un secuestro traumático que resultón en la muerta de su hermano, Tom.
Viviendo en una ciudad corrupta, ignorado y tratado como poco más que demente por la policía él mismo se encarga de resolver el crimen.
Pero este no es el único problema que tiene, pues en la nueva comisaría en donde trabaja se encontrará con D'Angelo Rodelli, un antigüo... amigo.

Deranged es mi proyecto más personal, lo que empezó como un grupo de ocs para un # de 2017 se ha convertido en mi proyecto más querido, aunque actualmente su formato principal es el de novela también subiré cómics, ilustraciones y escritos extras.
Personalmente, es un tributo a las series policíacas con las que crecí: Castle, Bones, Scorpion y hasta Hannibal. Tomo mucha inspiración de ellas y de sus clichés.

Background
Just as in Rise of Red, Wonderland has kept it's independence from Auradon, and as such, their Queen has never gone to The Isle of the Lost.
But this doesn't mean they live peacefully- No, the Queen has constructed pretty much a dictatorship, in which no one exits or enters Wonderland and diplomatic visits are a rarity.
She rules the people of hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs with an iron fist- And here is the problem.
Red is born under this context, and although she is pretty much loved and doted on by her mother (since she is her one and only heiress) she couldn't be more opposite than her.
The Queen is currently on a rampage against the Clubs and their leaders even if she tries to cover it up with a façade of peace and unity.
Red has decided then, to take the identity of The Joker, one of the first cards to be publicly executed by the Queen and now a symbol of the "Only one capable of showing the true by making fun of the Queen". It's considered Wonderland's number #1 public enemy and terrorist.
The only one to know The Joker's true identity is Maddox, who supports Red but thinks she is using this identity to avoid directly opposing her mother because she is scared of her.
Princess Red Rose of Hearts of Wonderland aka Red Riot
she's the second child of Queen Bridget of Hearts and (idk I don't care much about the king)
her older sibling is my oc Heartie who escaped Wonderland and left her behind
even so, she idealizes them a lot (until they meet each other again)
her mom actually loves her and shows it a lot, like a nice parent
backstory
She was born and raised in Wonderland and even tho the lessons to be a princess were harsh and horrible, she could always rely on their older sibling, that was until one day Heartie wasn't there anymore and Red Rose became alone, then her mother became unbearable, she treated her right and nice and everything
But every year Red Rose learned more and more about her mother's politics, and she hated every single part of it, she hated the idea that all the citizens had mandatory work clothes, hated that the card guards were scared and a lot of them died, she hated that her mom decapitated people left and right for no reason
She knew her mom could be nicer and her politics were so cruel that Red Rose needed to do something, so she became a rebel, a vigilante, a terrorist in the eyes of her mother, she became Red Riot, someone that started to question out loud the Queen of Hearts ruling, even tho sometimes it ended with innocent people dying
She also started to modify her appearance, dyeing the top of her hair white as a mockery of her mom's red roses, painting the red rose white, she started to dress more casually without much caring about how princessy she looked and stopped introducing herself as the royal heir and just as Red Rose
I actually really like some of her outfits, but in this one I wanted to incorporate elements of The Isle fashion since by this point in time it's the current trend. But of course Auradon makes it "fancier" (think the Balenciaga messed up converses)
Thanks to Queen Mal and the original VKs, the current trend in Auradon is very influenced by The Isle's fashion but made more capitalistic
The current fashion is to make fancy clothes that look "The Isle" (a way for them to say "poor" but more politically correct) or hand made
Assymetry and the use of leather is on the rise.
Chains are also beggining to be more used, but you aren't supposed to wear a lot since it then crosses the line to "poor taste"
Rich people discover the concept of Recycling™️
A lot of fabric are designed and printed to appear like patchwork, but with very vivid or pastel colors. More expensive stuff (like Chloe's) are actually very finely sewn pieces of high-quality fabric and leather
Chloe's style in particular is still considered a bit "much" since is more monochromatic than normal and with very intense blue instead of the more pastel ones (She really likes blue). Still, it is considered cool to explore your own style.
Wonderland fashion and most things are considered to be 'stuck' in time, since The Queen Of Hearts prefers and idealizes the Victorian clothing that was in fashion when she was younger
Because the dictatorship has closed Wonderland's borders, ot's fashion is very different from Auradon and The Isle and other kingdoms, because they are cut off from external influences and diplomacy visits are very limited
The royal colors are Red, White, Black and Golden, each one losely related to one of the suits.
I interpret each suit of cards (Hearts, spades, diamonds and clubs) to be a distinct nation or ethnic group inside of Wonderland, and the royal Hearts family happens to rule them all. Because of this, oficial Royal clothes should bear the symbol of all four suits in one way or another.
Red is the color of the Heart royal family, but not of most of Wonderland. Wonderland is actually very colourful.
Is trendy to use many different patterned fabrics on your clothes,rich Wonderland people do it having a lot of layers and finely crafted garments from different fabrics but in similar colours.
Poorer people (think the March Hare for example) use patchwork with a lot of colours.
Full make-up is always expected, here, Red's is considered fairly simple

1) They don't steal clothes from each other because they think it's gross
2) The "Snitches" part is because Carolina will often do some shit to D'Angelo and he will tel Eva hoping to get help, but Eva doesn't help that much unless Carolina is like, actively killing him
3) Carolina has tried to kill D'Angelo like 3 times, just to see what happens
4) When growing up, Carolina often assesed what hurted and what not by hurtin D'Angelo, so for example if she kicked him and he cried, she would imitate the crying
