Serph - The Water Crown - Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga

{INTRODUCTION COMPLETE, INITIATING PROGRAM}
{GUIDELINES & PREFERENCES}
Firstly: Spoilers ahead for all the stories the characters are from!
I won’t say I’m very selective, but I am mutuals-only.
Most of my writing is heavy on crossovers and AUs!
As this is an SMT-focused multi, be aware that themes of the occult, religion and mythology will be heavily present.
I do my best to keep things relatively PG-13 and will only do what people are comfortable with. I encourage you to block the tags of any muse you don’t wish to see.
I am relatively speaking, pretty new to this specific space as it is now, and especially very new to writing these specific characters. Please bear with me.
DRAMA FREE! I’m zero tolerance about this! There is no drama or beef here, unless you brought it with you.
I tend to be, on occassion, reserved and shy until I gather enough courage to be very sociable. As such, there's times where I might take a while to get back to you on prompts and interactions. Do not mistake this for disinterest. I'm a low activity, low energy person is all!!! (Added bc of misunderstandings that have happened because of this. Reiterating further since I sometimes lose mutuals over this!!! I'm always trying so hard to break the ice please keep that in mind!!!)
NO explicit content! I mainly refer to sexual (smut) or obscenely violent (gore) writing. That line will never be crossed here, and these topics will be mostly avoided and skipped over when needed.
That being said, I am not shy about actually seeing NSFW content, I’m just very averse to doing it myself, so no need to worry about me beyond that.
Shipping, by default, is not something I often immediately go for and I especially don’t push it on people. It’s probably only something that’ll happen if there’s chemistry and some communication beforehand. In general, I prioritize platonic bonding.
With the notable exception of Serph (who is more AU-based), all main muses are often set long after the events of their canon.
I’d prefer to only interact with writers over 18. Lying about your age is instant block.
Basic stuff, no godmodding, metagaming, toxicity, etc.
Always remember that despite my writing these characters, I do not directly agree or endorse EVERYTHING they say or do. Mun =/= Muse!!!
I don’t like to be overbearing with rules since I’m just here to have fun. If there’s any issues, lemme know and I’ll happily discuss!
👾 {Well I should probably do SOMETHING about this intense amount of listening to Dynasty/Samurai Warriors OSTs so like... idk like this and I'll send u a track or two that reminds me of ur muse(s).}
"...Then your expertise is well in the avenue of what we're needing." Enzo passed him a datapad, opening a dense file list on it.
"The system program for the sensor array for all solar panels in the city has been having anomalous malfunctions in multiple sectors. Corpo's are trying to talk it away with the old "Solar Storm" reason, but my sister and I have a different opinion. Compare that with the other data my sister has on the evidence board." He then directed Hibiki's attention to the wall sized monitor adjacent to his desk that has sister was working at, covered in assorted evidence and notes on the display.
Meia was more than a little focused on passing the data from her tablet to the board display, flicking the stylus every so often as she passed a new file to the board. Still, she could hear her brother's discussion and waved her hand once to pull the pertinent data sets forward on the display for Hibiki.
"I've highlighted the data that shows a pattern of a signal or message. I've also got the layered city map with the affected areas marked. None of it was happening when even the weaker solar storm readings were recorded so far from the lunar satellites. It's clearly localized planet-side in the city." What she wasn't highlighting was the ley line map file for the surface below the city that pointed to the acitivity hotspots. Most would dismiss that as evidence, even if the transposed locations matched up for the places being hit the worst.
"Expertise...?" Ah, geez. Was this when he'd have to reveal that he was more of an on-the-field type agent?
-...Ah.
-Bright blue eyes were squinting in examination of the information presented. Normally, he'd be clueless as to all of this. He'd rather hand it off to his nerdier, more technologically capable allies like Fumi back at base, but now...
-If this was what he thought it could be, this could be bad. He was, after all, not a simple meteorology employee, he was a summoner who fought the stars themselves. And this sort of thing sounded like the thing that happened in the prelude to--
"It's not just a solar storm," was his first immediate conclusion, in agreement with the investigators. Solar storms don't just do this sort of targeted disruption.
-Hibiki's gears began to twist and turn at maximum speed in his head, as his eyes closed in thought. He was unaware of the ley lines file himself, yet, his mind turned toward a similar road of thought. As he knew them, ley lines were called a 'Dragon Stream' to him in specific occasions, mainly when they become anti-cosmic spiritual barriers centered around high towers.
"I could be wrong about this, but Is it possible..." he began, after a moment of silence, and there wasn't an ounce of whimsical or carefree nature in his speech now, he sounded serious. "to overlay locations of towers on these maps? I'm mostly referring to signal or radio towers, tourist-y space needles, things like that."
-Wishlist: VERY self indulgent, but... I'd love a plot where Hibiki proves why he's special amongst SMT protags. As I always say, he's not the strongest of them by a loooooong shot (barring the final battle against Canopus but even then), he's the most tactically capable/has insane battle IQ.
-So part of me wants to have a moment where Hibiki does face off against a being who, by all standards, should EASILY overpower him without even trying... only to get outsmarted against all odds by the mix of planning, improvisation and perseverance that Hibiki has.

A ten degree tilt of the head as he erupts into laughter. She was not intending to be funny, nor did she really understand her comment to be worth this amount of laughter.
"I am only stating things as I see them." she says.
She already has one of his hoodie's hotly debated ears in her hand, looking it over as if it really were a specimen that needed studying, and not just touching it to touch it. "This shape wouldn't be very good for thermaregulation. If you were a really a rabbit with ears like these, you would die of like heatstroke. But I think they would work just fine as antennae."
"Well, that reminds me of someone I know," he muttered, still a little giggly, remembering how Alcor, too had little care for what he said beyond what his thoughts brought out.
-He seemed to nod along with a silly smirk to everything else she said, seemingly unbothered the she was touching the hoodie ears.
"Gooootcha," he spoke, once she'd finished. "When I become a real bunny someday, then, I'll make sure to get the proper ear shape so I don't get hypothetical bunny heatstroke." He was being sarcastic, but he wasn't exactly trying to be mean-spirited either. Nevertheless, he found her critique of his fashion sense... unique.
-Not wanting to seem as though he was just a smart-mouth, he did also wonder: "...Are you an animal person? You seem to know about this."
@grislyintentions sent: "Do you need a hand with that?" [kafka for hibiki ^^]
Prompt: Introduction Starters
-Stuck recovering data from abandoned orbital outposts that JP's had to leave behind in their war against the Septentriones, just his luck...
-Well, better him than any of his friends who needed the rest more. It was with little enthusiasm that Hibiki walked from hallway to hallway in the abandoned stations, still slightly glowing with the familiar golden glow of the organization's brassy, clockwork aesthetic all the way through. It was all very menial, downloading data, gathering a few drives...
-And it was then, as he was reaching for a somewhat inconveniently placed light switch, a woman's voice rang out in the dark, exactly at that moment where he succeeded in lighting up the area.
"There, I'm good! But thank- HAH-?!"
-Cue the bunny practically jumping in the air out of sheer shock upon realizing someone else was there with him. And, given how cramped the mechanical, clockwork-filled hallways of this abandoned outpost were... he bumped his head on a bit of machinery above him.
"Ough-!" Rubbing his head, he desperately tries to compose himself on the spot at the absolutely generational loss of cool points he just accidentally inflicted upon himself.
"I... how... how's there someone else here... I mean, uh..." Ever one to improvise and go with the flow, Hibiki cleared his throat and did a wave. "H-Hi. Who are you...?"
