good morning / afternoon !

today’s goal is to crack down on schoolwork as much as I can and then try to work on bios. a lot of them are just me copy / pasting info, but I’ve started tweaking it as well, so that’s what’s taking me so long. If you want a sneak peak, I’ll drop a WIP List Below; not all are on my doc yet:

In no particular order:

Goddard & Moog - You know ‘em, you love ‘em. I need to finish their stuff. They’re partially worked on.

Nosy Nervetti - Mechanic, info broker… well, there’s a reason she’s got that nickname, after all. Your go to gal for bike and car repairs or just whatever lil bits n pieces of info you wanna know. Some people call it gossip, but all she hears are dollar signs.

Tony Leone - Waitress by day, boxer by night. Somewhat inspired by Rocky and by somewhat I mean not much but that movie made me wanna make her so… credit where credit is due. Gentle giant in a way, looks more intimidating than she really is. A sweetheart with a taxi cab gig on the side.

Suzie Daniels / Engineer - TF2 inspired OC. Texan with a brain and heart that matches the size of the state. Loves to tinker, loves to learn. Humble for the most part. She’ll get her hands dirty and get a job done right. Reliable and easy going, she does all sorts of work, whether big or small.

Fritz Steiner / Medic - TF2 inspired OC. Former midwife, current unlicensed surgeon / doctor / medical professional. Absolutely insane, she’s the very definition of a mad scientist. Her methods may be questionable, but they work, so people can’t really complain… at least not within earshot.

M. Browning / Soldier - TF2 inspired OC. Military brat turned accidental war hero, but he sure doesn’t feel like one. Survived being alone on the battlefield and surround areas for months and finally got rescued after weeks of fighting for survival and a grip on reality. He lived through all that and all he got was this shitty medal for it. Can’t find and hold a real job, so mercenary work is what he does. He’s tired.

Eiko Yasuda - Legendary phantom / gentleman thief from Japan. Grew up stealing to survive, now does it to prove a point… and maybe do a little Robin Hood action here and there. Known to leave calling cards, making daring escapes, and be a master of disguise and sleight of hand. Will she ever be caught? Maybe, but not for long!

Elvira Houdini - Okay, fine. That’s not her real name. It’s Elvira Weisz. Or Elvira Hardeen, depending on who you ask. But, she’s technically still related to Harry Houdini and also happens to be the only person who’s been able to contact him after his death. An impressive feat… it’s just too bad she doesn’t believe in ghosts. She’s so immensely skeptic that she doesn’t see him appear and just assumes he’s some form of her conscience… that she talks to out loud. She’s carrying on the family business, if you can call it that, by being a contortionist, escape artist, and magician.

sometimes I think about how fun it’d be if I made my muses intersect and meet… for example (a bad one, because neither are technically finished):

I have Tony, who’s an ooooold oc of mine. Lives in NYC. Italian. Had a big family, a twin brother. But her twin gets killed, and she’s left to grieve and she doesn’t know where to put the anger and she becomes a delinquent because she can’t process anything. And then a helping hand comes in and offers her a chance to take her anger out on a punching bag and learn techniques and. Now she’s a boxer in her adult life, among other things (taxi driver, waitress) to support herself. She transitioned, too. Nice lady.

Then there’s Nosy, also an NYC Italian. Diff part of town, maybe, but she’s also had plenty of run ins with the cops. Hell, her dad is one. He doesn’t like when she tells people though! Oh, that’s because she’s nosy! She’s a misfit! And she’ll listen and listen and yammer about what she’s heard… for the right price. She got crafty as a kid too, and it landed her in juvie! She got out and… it’s as they say, you can’t teach an old dog new tricks… but she proves you can improve on ‘em. Info broker this, mechanic that. Sure, sure. Maybe a lil’ illegal drag racing on the side.

But all in all… I think their differences and similarities would create such conflicting emotions within each other. Would be fun to explore in a drabble or fic sometime, maybe.
