It was on this day, December 19 2012, when this photo was taken in Ghent. These were the last 3 C30s built by Volvo. Soon afterwards Volvo sent out a press release announcing what we all knew was coming. Ford had sold off Volvo 2 years earlier, and the P1 platform was shared with Ford and Mazda. It simply did not make financial sense for Volvo to keep buying components from Ford. As such all P1 cars (C30, S40, V50, C70) had to stop production eventually. :-(
