SNOWMAM MINI-GUIDE

The Snowmam is part of the new concept for the Snowmen, in that there’s a whole snowfamily now. The size you make the snowfamily member determines who it is. Snowmam’s a little on the small side, so try to make her bottom half about as wide as a pattern tile, from my experience, but there may be better sizes.

If you build her right, she’ll ask for snowflakes. Depending on how well she’s built, she’ll ask from 5 to 3 snowflakes at a time. Each time you bring her that amount, she’ll give you a piece of the Ice Series, and getting all 12 furniture pieces and the wall + floor will take quite a bit of time.

To get snowflakes, take out your net during winter and listen for them. Once you hear the wind chime-like jingle, keep a keen eye out and you’ll find a big snowflake floating around for you to catch! You can get them as early as November, but there’s no snow to make Snowfamily members and you can’t store snowflakes, so this is not recommended. They may appear more frequently when it’s snowing.

Unlike most events, Snowmam always gives you the Ice series in the same order, starting with the Ice Wall and ending with the Vanity. Once you get them all, she loops again from the Ice Wall. Super important to note; If you let Snowmam melt and do the quest with another, you’ll need to start from Ice Wall again.

This basically means that even though you’ll get doubles… so will everyone else, and before you get doubles of something you’d WANT to get doubles of, like the Ice Chair, you gotta go through all the items before it, and its somewhere in the middle. A bummer, yes, but if you spend a two or three days, perhaps even one if you do it non-stop, you’ll get the full set before she melts, guaranteed.
