The aching black hole in the center of my chest that won't let me breathe is back and it's going to eat me. I took it for a walk and let it talk to a friend and felt it grow bigger as I watched a cat nestle in a basket with her kittens and I tried to make it eat the rice I made for dinner instead and it doesn't want any of it. The house is so quiet. The hum of the fridge and the rhythm of the washing machine. Holding my food. My clothes. The black hole listens to my footsteps in the kitchen. It listens to the water running while I wash the dishes from my meal. I put the other serving in the fridge for tomorrow, maybe it will want it then.
I didn't expect my house to be this quiet at 25.
What if it's always quiet?

I need to play cards until 2 am while drinking g&ts on a hot porch, then I'll be cured

Thinking a lot about pacifism as a response to living in an empire where violence is directly oppressive vs. violence as a tool for liberation and where I fall in it.
