We need to learn from history or it is doomed to repeat itself.
Not even 100 years later, and we clearly forgot that lesson.
Never in my days would I have thought I’d be living through the second version of Nazi dictatorship- concentration camps, genocide, executions in the street, kidnapping, it’s a sort of horror you can’t imagine until you live through a time when it’s happening.
Stand up- remember what they took from us back in the 1940s. Don’t let them take it again, even if they’re trying.
Banning and burning books. Erasing queer history and rights. Racist and xenophobic fuelled slaughter, execution and genocide. Murder of those who speak out.
Don’t be silent, I’ve tried to remain apolitical out of fear of what may happen to me if I ever got caught speaking out, but I’d rather be caught a protestor than be dismissed as a silent enabler.
This country will only turn into Nazi Germany if we let it. Don’t let it.
If you believe me to be exaggerating, I urge you to research it yourself. Educate yourself on the horrors going on. Minneapolis is a war zone. Police are being overpowered by ICE. Alligator Alcatraz is just a concentration camp with a quirky name. The heritage foundation is erasing and burying the history of marginalised groups and brainwashing the population through unrelenting propaganda.
They said live free or die.
