like is mobius out here doing job interviews is there a careers page on the tva website do candidates know going in that they'll be living completely outside of time is there a probation period what are the benefits does the tva have a glassdoor page and what are the reviews like

the mha hero course looked at bakugo and lemillion and said yes. protectors of society. absolutely. and i think about that a lot

okay so lemillion's quirk is that he phases through solid matter

walls. floors. ceilings.

people.

uninvited. undetected. at will.

and the hero course said: yes this young man should absolutely be trusted with a license to do this legally

and then there's bakugo who has been explosively violent since he was four years old, spent years tormenting the main character, and was literally told by the main villain of the series that he had the ideal disposition to become one of them

and they gave him a hero license too

meanwhile the actual villains are out here with quirks like. detaching their fingers.

the mha sorting system is held together entirely by vibes and the grace of good mentorship and i think that's actually the most realistic and interesting thing about the whole show

different circumstances and both of them are league of villains material no question 😂

okay so i was watching jurassic world rebirth and i couldn't stop thinking about how these people have been running and hiding and surviving for what appears to be multiple consecutive days

no food no sleep not one moment of "i can't think straight i need to eat something"

just. constant. output.

and like. do the writers know what happens to humans when they don't eat or sleep

your brain stops working properly you start making terrible decisions you become emotionally dysregulated eventually your body just. stops.

these characters should be absolutely delirious by act two

instead they're sharp and witty and making tactically brilliant decisions while being chased by apex predators on zero calories

the dinosaurs aren't even the most unrealistic part of jurassic world

it's that nobody has eaten since the opening scene

krillin from dragon ball super is genuinely one of the most courageously unhinged characters in all of anime and i will not be taking criticism

okay so people sleep on krillin constantly and i think it's because they're measuring him by the wrong standard

like yes obviously he can't compete with goku or vegeta or literally anyone in the top tier of dragon ball super

he knows that

HE KNOWS THAT

that's the whole point

he's not standing up because he thinks he can win. he's not deluded. he has done the math and the math said sit down and he looked at the math and said

and then walked into the fight anyway

fully informed. completely aware. zero illusions about his chances.

that specific flavour of courage — knowing exactly how bad the odds are and showing up regardless — is so much rarer and more impressive than the courage of someone who just doesn't understand the danger they're in

krillin understands. krillin goes anyway.

he is built completely different and i will not hear otherwise 🫡

in defence of clint barton and why the hawkeye slander is actually insane if you think about it

okay so people really out here calling hawkeye useless like he didn't show up to the battle of new york as a normal human man with a bow and decided that was going to be enough

thor is a literal god tony stark built a flying suit of armor powered by a miniature sun bruce banner turns into an unkillable rage monster steve rogers was scientifically enhanced and clint barton said yeah okay cool I have arrows. let's go.

and then KEPT UP WITH ALL OF THEM the audacity of that man. the sheer unbothered commitment to being exceptionally good at one thing and deciding that was enough to stand next to gods

he's not the weakest avenger he's the most unhinged one in the best possible way 🏹

Unpopular opinion: we've been blaming the wrong part of the devil's strategy this whole time

okay so hear me out.

we always talk about the devil like he's this master tempter. like he's the one throwing parties and handing out good times and leading people astray.

but like... your own flesh does most of that work? he's barely needed for step one.

his REAL skill is step two.

the moment after you mess up he slides in with:

"god won't take you back after that" "you've gone too far this time" "you're too damaged now. might as well keep going"

that's the actual attack. not the fall. the lie that you can't get back up.

shame dressed up as honesty. consequences dressed up as permanent identity.

it's not though. the door doesn't close like that.

don't let the lie be louder than the truth. 🙏
