I tried harder this year to document the holidays, which I don't usual make time or the effort for since my work is often behind a camera. I often regret not doing it (or at least staying on top of all the photos I have to edit) and writing about our travels and times at home more. I took this shot while in Ghana last month with @PencilsOfPromise where we attended an opening ceremony of a new school and the enthusiasm of the hundreds of children, parents, village leaders, and more has left a lasting impression on me. Something like simply having a classroom with four walls and a ceiling for children to learn in, as well as teacher training, better sanitation, and access to eBooks is life changing in certain places of the world. Doing more with the little you have can do a ton for those that have very little. (Will be sharing more stories from the trip on @patflynn's YouTube channel in August.)
