Jeffrey's is gone and all I have left is this. Their comics section was so thick and the stacks on the shelves were dense enough to create a distinct smell of...acidic paper 🗞, ink 🖨, and bodily funk 💃of all of the comic lovers who stayed in the aisle for hours. If I didn't have my peppermint oil 🌬 when I was there, this towering swivel column of mini toys would be where I'd take my comic "breaks." I'd wonder at the universe that column case held. 🎑 It was filled with miniatures of stuff we know in our existence - pterodactyls, Shelby Mustangs, planets, sushi. 🍥 So random and weird and pocket-sized. Then I'd think about how the plastic smells deliciously poisonous. (´・_・`) I loved to get lost at Jeffrey's. That store was perfect, the people were perfect. The aroma of plastic and people were stuffy and perfect. 💙 And it was also the only place I could quickly get to for Christmas, birthday, and just because presents. #SanFrancisco, #therealSanFrancisco. #westcoastwings (at San Francisco, California)
