as much as I do love and listen to sketches and many live albums released post-humously, I will always look down upon them for not just putting insane amounts of pressure onto jeff with deadlines and insane expectations for his second album, but also beginning development of sketches before even getting the permission of his mother, and in general profiting immensely off of jeff's image and legacy. genuinely kinda insane.

always thinking about how jeff might've adapted to modern day music and maybe even modern fashion. although he never really was one to conform, obviously, even by the late nineties, you could sort of start to see his style in fashion shifting somewhat into late 90s fashion (more graphic tees, ect., less early grunge adjacent).

music, however, with the technology that is available today i think he could've made some AMAZING and really good experimental stuff based off of what's already on sketches and just his general experimental style. for example, some of the effects on dream brother are so, well, dreamy. they make you feel as though you are in a bittersweet mix between a dream and a nightmare. now imagine if he had some of the software we have today, insane.
sigh rip jeff buckley you would've loved adding random sound effects to your tracks.

it's funny looking at pictures of jeff on stage and in photoshoots and seeing just how inspired by morrissey he probably was. the half unbuttoned baggy shirts, the flowers, fluffy hair (even his earlier hairstyle is very reminiscent of him), the blazers, and just general stage presence
what's more is that based off of interviews and just jeff's general beliefs he probably would've ended up hating morrissey, at least present day him anyway.
