to be honest, i haven't watched a single episode of Marble Hornets. so i thought i'd draw what usually happens in the series as i imagine it. of course, the fandom has not bypassed me, so i know a couple of things, but i really have no idea what the usual actions are. knowing that it was about The Slimdude™, for some reason i thought it was like a sitcom dark comedy with a cat-and-mouse game. you know, guys are running from some huge chthonic scary thing over and over again with some dialogues like "it's riiiiight behind me, isn't it?"

This puts jay and alex's relationship into such a tragic lens.... They were close enough that had the operator not interfered, they would have not only continued to be close friends but been partners in film. They would have grown up together. Found their lives. They were so, so close- And in the main series, that friendship would end with a bullet. Maybe in Alex's eyes, he was just trying to save his best friend.
