Late Night Drop By || Cameron&Adele
Adele pushed the door open a bit further and a warm smile spread over her features to see he was still up before she saw it. The suitcase, the room looking like it was stripped bare of any signs of someone living it then she caught sight of his face and froze a second. What was that feeling? That empty drop in her stomach, like all the air was gone suddenly. Furrowing her brow faintly she shut the door behind her and wandered over, shaking her head. ‘Please don’t tell me you’re going..’ Adele slipped carefully onto the bed, looking up at his face, confused and although she couldn’t describe it herself, fearful. She didn’t open up to people easily without finding extremely difficult to let them go. ‘…you’re just going away for a couple of days, right?’
As soon as he saw her face, his heart dropped. He didn't speak right away as she moved onto the bed and looked up at him in confusion. The look on her face for some reason tugged on his heart strings. Augh, this was going to be harder than he thought it was, he couldn't think that enough. Sighing, he simply put his arms around her and moved her onto his lap so that she was facing him. Leaning back, so that his back was against the headboard, his arms wrapped around her. Letting out a deep sigh, he finally spoke. "It's not a couple days, Adele. But...it's not forever, either. You can't get rid of me that easily." Cameron finally uttered, his hand running up and down her back. "I'm sorry..." He began to speak again but he paused for a moment. Cameron didn't apologize too often, especially for his own actions. He had no idea just why he was apologizing, probably was for a few different reasons. "I just...I can't stay here anymore, Adele. It's better if I leave here now. I wish I could say it's complicated, but my reasoning probably isn't. But I am going to miss you. Way more than I thought was possible." He finished, turning his head to kiss her temple gently.
Finally, Mr Rhodes | Adele and Cameron
‘Lucky you have a face that speaks for you most of the time.’ She smiled at him softly, her eyes running over his features and only just picking up on the hardened side to his usually carefree smile but him being here spoke enough volumes that she knew best not to ask, it was best just to maybe both achieve some distraction out of being together tonight. Adele clung on to him as he flipped over, breathing in and arching to him as he got her on her back, about to say something cheeky but he seemed to fall silent and she just held her gaze his eyes, breathing in deeply and tipping her cheek against his hand before her thigh moved up and she lost the silence, murmuring ‘Dammnn’ as she ran her hands over his shoulders and tugged him down. ‘You shouldn’t say that. I have handcuffs, I won’t let you go anywhere..’ She grinned, leaning down and catching his lips in a begging kiss. ‘Everything is okay with me if it’s you asking..’
Cameron gave her a lopsided grin at her compliment and he shook his head briefly. "You're too sweet, Adele. Far too sweet." He stated, giving her a wink in addition to his statement. Hoovering above her, he noticed each of her movements, the way she looked up at him, how her body arched and how she moved at his slightest touch to her face. He was slightly aware of the affect he had over her, it was mutual at times. Bending lower at her tug, he returned the kiss and couldn't help but nip her lower lip at her statement before. "Oooh, handcuffs. I like, I like a lot." He said, lowering his head to nuzzle her neck. "Good...good, I'm glad.." He breathed out. "Didn't want you to be alone. Wanted to be sure you were okay." He added before his head lifted and his lips were on hers once again. "I'm here, all yours, what do you want from me?" He asked, as his hips adjusted, and he wasn't able to contain himself from teasingly pressing himself against her entrance. So much for trying to contain yourself.
Late Night Drop By || Cameron&Adele
Adele had been having a restless night, tossing and turning and wide awake. It was impossible to get comfortable, she was sick of drinking herself to sleep and just chatting online felt fruitless. She just wanted to see someone, just chat and hang out, hell, even just sit in silence. Climbing out of bed and pulling a large jumper over herself she snuck out of her room and headed down the hall, pausing for a minute and freaking out that she couldn’t remember his room number before it came to her and she sped up. Standing in front of Cam’s door she knocked softly as not to wake him up if he was asleep, biting her lip she tried his door, opening it softly. ‘Cam? It’s Adele.. can I come in?’
His room was pretty much packed up, flight was booked, and he was ready to go. He had been laying low since last night. Not like anyone would really notice and/or care about his departure from the manor, so he wasn't making a big deal about it. Wesley knew he was leaving and there only left one person, Adele. He planned on talking to her before he left, it would be easier that way...well as easy as saying goodbye could get. Hearing a light knock on the door and seeing it open moments later, Cameron visibly winced when he saw Adele step into his room. Fuck, this was NOT how she was supposed to figure out that he was leaving. Rubbing the back of his neck as he rose up. "Adele...hey. No, no, I'm not busy. Come in." He said, patting the spot on his bed. "Kind of...er, have something to tell you."
#fuuuuck. gonna miss you and your face - If you disappear forever on me, I will be very very very angry.
I couldn't do that to you, sweetheart. You know my number, I'll be in contact. You can't get rid of me that easily.
This is kind of like the last time, but not really...(Self)
Obviously, you're an expert at leaving in the middle of the night.
'You're getting drunk over a broad who gave no fucks about you, why?' He thought to himself as he exited the bar of the Manor. That was the original plan, that got scraped when his sense finally kicked. Then it was "harass" Adele, but he wasn't too sure where she was and she didn't exactly find the need to bitch to her about his issues. So, Cameron found himself completely sober and heading back up to his room.
Yes, he was hurt. But then the hurt turned into pure annoyance quickly. She was upset and sad, she was hurt. Yeah, he called bullshit on that one. To him, she had no reason to be upset because if it was plain and dry as that other dude who she seemed to still be in love, why the fuck did she suddenly care about his feelings anyways? Plus, everyone coming to her aid and defense when she even knew she was in the wrong, made him scoff. But what did he expect? He had no real ties to this place, no one was loyal to him, and at the end of the day he was just 'that guy she had a crush on'. Never mind the fact that he caught feelings and actually cared about her. No, of course that wasn't taken into account. And he wouldn't bring it up either, that made him feel like a little bitch. And Cameron Rhodes was NOT a bitch. But he did end up getting made to look like a fool and an idiot over the course of what...24 hours?
So with all of that in mind, the decision was easy. He'd be gone by the morning. He had no place here, never did. Hence the first time that he left. Part of it was over he, he couldn't sit back and watch her feel sorry for herself one day and then fawning over the other guy the next. Nor did he think he needed to be here, everyone was apparently leaving, this place was falling apart by the seams. So, no better time than now.
Pushing open the door to his bedroom, Cameron sighed as he ran his hand down his face. He didn't know where to begin as he grabbed his suitcase and tossed it onto his bed. Going into his drawer at his nightstand, he grabbed the carton of cigarettes he hadn't touched since he arrived and his cell phone. Lighting the stick, Cameron took a drag from it and felt a slight amount of relief wash over him. It was temporary, but it was something. Looking back at the phone in his hand, Cameron messed with the phone in his hand and was ready to call his mom and just demand he was going home. But that would lead to an arguement that wasn't worth having.
So, what was he going to do? Just fucking leave, go home, and randomly show up on his parents doorstep after reuniting with his crew and getting fucked up in celebration of his return from rehab without giving a single fuck. He'd risk the battle that it would bring. He just couldn't stay in this place anymore. Finishing up that cigarette and lighting up another, Cameron carelessly tossed the phone to the side and moved to his drawer to start throwing his things into his suitcase. He was really doing this...in the middle of the night. As he was tossing the contents of his room into bags, two people popped into his head.
Wesley and Adele. "Fuck" He muttered to himself. Yes, he wasn't close to too many people, but out of everyone besides....her, Adele and Wes had managed to find themselves as people Cameron was close to. He didn't know if he should say anything or not. The answer was fairly clear, he left Wesley without saying anything before and didn't think it was right. But Adele...that would be a hard one. After last night...he didn't think he could just go away without saying goodbye, hell he found this goodbye to actually be hard somehow. He could just picture the look on his face and that just...no.
Augh, THIS was why he didn't find himself close to people. For one, they crush you and give no fucks about it...like she did. And two, you find yourself too attached to people you never thought you would, hence making you care and be vulnerable, which would then lead you to point numero uno. Throwing one last t-shirt into his suitcase angrily Cameron shut the bag and plopped down on the bed again, contemplating his options.
Sighing, he grabbed his phone and sent off a quick text to a friend of his back home Heading back home within the day. We're fucking some shit up. Tossing the phone onto the bed and getting up, Cameron exited the room. He'd leave tomorrow for good. Did he want to stay the night? Fuck no, he wanted out of this place as soon as possible. But even though he gave no fucks about anyone or anything, two people didn't deserve such treatment.
Yeah...he liked soulless Cameron better, this was a liability and too fucking emotional for his liking.
Less than 24 hours and he'd be out of hell.
Pretty sure the both of you aren’t making the situation great.
Nothing to worry about, it's over. Fairly sure he is.
