Cameron Chell is a business entrepreneur who has founded and co-founded various innovative high-technology companies. Currently living in Venice, California, Chell is originally from Fort Macleod, Canada. Growing up in the small town of Fort Macleod, Chell was the son of the local butcher, who Chell says was the person who he looked up to the most and who instilled in him lifelong values of always doing more than what’s expected of you. Chell began his start-up career in 1997 with the high-tech company FutureLink; he then went on to co-found a computer software company called Engyro in 1999. After moving to the United States, Chell learned that the startup industry in Canada was better, which was just as well for him since the technology sector in Canada was ripe for innovation in several industries, in particular in the oil and gas industries.
