In the year 2022, a government agency that thought they had discovered the cure for cancer, released the medicine. At first patients would start coughing, then they would start exhibiting signs of falling health of their organs. This would eventually cause them to die. But they didn’t remain dead. In hordes and hordes, they arose from morgues with one simple need: to feed. The infection spread through bites and, within six months, the world had fallen to the disease. On what would seem an ordinary day, several survivors happened to run into each other in a town. They instantly decided it would be best to band together and so they did. They traveled together for a couple of weeks, until they happened to run into an old military base. Nothing was still intact except for the walls. They immediately claimed it as their home. As it would happent, this group would turn out to be an all male group, predominantly gay with one exception. With the world in peril and the human race hanging in the balance, this lonely group of survivors are handed the task of rebuilding the world as they knew it. Among all the other problems they must solve, they must figure out the vital issue for the human race to survive: how to reproduce. Can they develop the technology to do this in time?
Frank McCreary | 25 | Engineer | Open | FC: Taylor Launter
Frank McCreary was born in San Francisco. During his childhood, he was a quite child, preferring to spend time alone in his room as opposed to being around people. Frank was considered “weird” by his peers, but he didn’t care. He liked being weird. As he grew into an adult, he found himself utterly fascinated by art and trying to figure out how to make new ideas work. So when he went of to college he majored in engineering with a minor in art.
Upon graduation, he found himself working for the government on top secret projects. He loved helping building the latest and greatest advances in military technology. He finally felt like his talents finally fit in somewhere and that he actually belonged to a group. For the first time in his entire life, he found himself forming actual friendships with people.
When the virus broke out, a lot of military personnel were the first to die since they were out trying to contain the pandemic. Frank had the common sense that this was beyond anything that could be easily controlled and he went on the run. He moved from city to city, protecting his back and barely managing to survive.

I'm going to say something. I don't mean any disrespect but maybe you should pick a new theme. It would be more eye appealing and bring more people in.
Thank you so much for your opinion and I will look into other themes. Not saying I'll change it but I will give it much consideration.
Congratulations! You had a good application and you've been accepted! Please send in your account as soon as possible!
The epidemic hit after James' first year of med school. He had read about the supposed cure, even did a few in depth reports on it for his thesis, but he never saw it coming, in fact he had been one of the biggest supporters during it's trials. So when the patients started dying, and when the zombies started attacking, it had taken him completely by surprise.
Nothing could have prepared him for what had gone down. One by one, everything he held dear, his way of life had been destroyed. He saw the carnage in the news at first, and like many of the other med students, had been more interested in helping find a cure than running. So when a zombie horde came for them, they weren't ready. It was the first all out attack he witnessed. It was a blood bath, to say the least, and James just barely managed to escape without a bite or scratch.
From then on, James was on the run on his own, save for one of his best friends and fellow med student. The two of them managed to survive for three weeks on their own, running from the hordes, surviving the elements. It wasn't until they came across the abandoned town did things start to look up. They ran into other survivors, and with them found an abandoned military base, where they set up their home. Now, James is still with the group, and trying his best to stay sane. He's trying to come out of that privileged and sheltered bubble, to become more of an asset than a liability. While his medical training has come in handy, he's recently been more interested in learning to fight, to defend.
Para Sample (In third person; In character preferred but you can use samples from other groups; No less than five sentences please):
He could feel the change of energy before anything else. A familiar force crashed into his senses, much like the one he'd sensed back at the gala. It was Rob. Almost immediately goosebumps erupted all over the surface of his skin. Clenching is jaw tight, he waited for his estranged brother to make his presence officially known."Would if I knew what you drank now. I'd order a jager bomb for you, but I'd hope you're taste has changed since high school." Rich green eyes flickered from their place on the glass, settling on the strong, handsome, aged man standing just beside him. It had caught Austin off guard, just how different, yet undeniably the same Rob looked. He still had that smile that managed to brighten a room, as well as those warm, youthful eyes he'd envied in high school. Rob had always been more of the wholesome, boy next door type, at least he was in high school. His smile was one of those smiles that everyone felt comfortable around, safe, welcomed. It contrasted Austin's more regal look in a way that complimented both of their presences. While Rob seemed to have maintained that air, he was older now. His eyes, though maintaining their warmth, were a lot less naive, they were wiser. He was bigger now, if that were even possible, and the stubble on his face gave him a much less polished look. Even still, it took Austin's breath away. Not that he'd show it.
"Get my friend a vodka tonic, would you please? Put it on my tab." With that, he stood up. "I'll be right back then. Apparently my friend here has turned into a mooch." He jogged quickly out of the door to the cab driver, who had been patiently waiting for his fair. Pulling out his wallet, he paid the cabby the necessary fee, with a generous tip for his trouble, and headed back inside to the bar. He took his time, trying to figure out just what to say to get over the inevitable awkwardness that would ensue as soon as he sat down. As much as he missed Rob, and as good as it was to see him again, he wasn't entirely sure how his long lost best friend would feel about the unexpected reunion, especially since it was Austin who had cut him out. Still, despite himself, and the blame he knew he held, he decided to play it casual. "So...." he began, nervously running a hand through his hair as he slid back into his stool next to Ryker. "It's been a while, Robby." It was the understatement of the decade, but it was all he had. He chanced a glance at the man and looked him over before grabbing his own glass and taking a sip, forcing his eyes forward. "You look good."

Para Sample (In third person; In character preferred but you can use samples from other groups; No less than five sentences please) Just like any other night Pam was found in her brothel. It was almost time to open. As she walked down the stairs as she did she glanced over her shoulder. That’s when Pam saw one of the girls crying dashing down the hall. She rolled her eyes but quickly moved up the stair heading the same direction which the girl had gone. That’s when Pam heard a door slam. She walked over to the same door and opened it. Pam saw the young women crying on the floor in fetal position. “What’s wrong with you now?” Pam asked. But before the girl had the chance to speak, Pam spoke again. “Wait, I don’t care. Clean yourself up and stop your crying. It’s almost opening time.” That’s when the blonde women left. But before she shut the door Pam spoke “And don’t you ever slam another door in the brothel again. Have I made my self clear?” She hated when the girls were crying. It didn’t bring in business. Pam walked back down stairs and into the main room. She saw her girls putting their finishing touches to themselves. With her cold crystal blue eyes she scanned the girls; looking at no one yet looking at everyone she spoke in a cold heartless tone. “Do your jobs.” She ordered. She walked over to the door and unlocked it. She turned on the porch light. It was her brothel’s way of saying open. Pam waited for a few minutes. Just then the door opened. “Welcome,” She with one of her cold smiles. It was on of her typical clients a man she knew everything she needed to know about. He walked up to Pam. “Is Helen here?” She heard the man ask her. “Of course she is. Let me go get her.” She said, one of her girl walked by them. “You get Helen now” Pam ordered. The young nodded doing as she was told. “Just a minute.” Pam told the man. Just then out of the corner of her eyes she saw Helen coming. “There she is. Enjoy.” She said with another even colder smile.
Pam supervised her brother was killer eyes. She made sure her girls were smiling and looked pretty. While she scanned to make sure the men had money. She hated when they didn’t want to pay. “PAM!” Pam quickly turned around at the sound of her name being yelled. The blonde women rolled her eyes. This better be good. She thought or someone was in deep shit. Pam abhorred when girls yelled. She followed the sounded which came from upstairs. She made her way up the stairs to one of the rooms. She opened it “What?” She said in an unamused tone. Pam heard a high pitch voice with a southern drag on it. ”He won’t pay!” Pam’s eyes shot the man a devil’s looks, staring deep down into his eyes. As if she was looking right into his soul. When he made eye contact with her eyes, she could tell her was afraid. “So you aren’t going to pay?” She said as she placed her hands in her hips. “You got two options, pay now.” She said with a bittersweet tone. “Or you don’t want to know.” She gave him a lean smirk. “So what is it?” she watched the boy pull out her his wallet and take out a few dollars. Pam grabbed the money from him almost ripping his hand off with it. She walked up to the girl. She dropped a dollar to the floor. “That’s yours.” She said as be stuffed the money into her bar. “I’m taking a cut for helping you. You’re welcome.” She said leaving. She hoped that was going to be all her trouble for the night at least.

Justin Greyson | 30 | Doctor | Taken | FC: Cam Gigandet
Justin Greyson was born in upstate New York. He was a brilliant child and had great parents. At the beginning of his life, he was a shining star. He stood out among his peers with his vibrant personality and had a good number of friends. As he progressed through life, he gained some unwanted attention and got bullied in school. Slowly, he lost his shine and became very self conscious. He stuck to the shadows from that point.
To prove his worth to himself and to others he joined the military after graduating high school and began receiving his education through them. He was a medic for a while until he finally rose to a doctor. Helping the wounded soldiers brought him much happiness and it even began to give him a sense of self worth again. Once he had his fill of the military, he retired to civilian life and private practice. One night at a bar he ran into Ryan, the most beautiful boy he had ever seen. They started dating and after a year, Justin and Ryan decided to spend the rest of their lives together. Once the virus broke out, Ryan was infected and Justin was left with no choice but to kill Ryan's body. They had made a pact that if the other got infected, they would kill that person.
After that, Justin became a gypsy, never staying in one place too long. Then he ran into the group of survivors that he now lives with in the old military fort with. The group nominated him to be the official leader and he made a silent vow to himself he would lead them to not only survival, but prosperity.
Malcolm Davidson| 23| Ex-Convict/Gangster| Open| FC: Andra Fuller
Malcolm was raised in a tough environment with strict duties that governed the laws of masculinity. The streets were never kind to Malcolm, so Malcolm never tried to be nice back. His growth was fueled through violence and disrespect. His mother was the backbone of his family. He witnessed his father punch her with all of his might. When she got back up, she planted her feet and took him on with excellent hand to hand techniques that Malcolm would soon master. After ten years, his father has yet to fully recover. Malcolm became the epitome of masculinity and fear on his block and dawned the position proudly. His mother told him that the world wouldn't give him anything that was already his, so he decided to take it all for himself. Malcolm took up drinking at a young age and never stopped. It soon became an addiction but no one dared to tell him to stop.
Roman Daniel Marshall| 19| Ex-Student| Taken| FC: Chris Brown
Roman is what you could call the best friend you ever had, as well as your worst enemy. Back before the apocalypse, he ruled his high school and everyone loved to hate him. He was usually known for keeping secrets, and holding them over his friends and everyone else's head to get exactly what he wanted. He wasn't always exactly like this, he actually was a kind hearted person at one point... Then when his father joined the army he began to act out and when the moving around started, so did the bitchiness. Finally, after his mother decided to stop moving around, he made a set group of friends and they adored him because of how he fascinating he was and how amazing everything he did seemed. It wasn't until their second year as being friends did everyone start to notice how not so nice the new popular guy was. Secrets were a thing best kept secret at his school, and everyone had dirt. He was always the first to know and the first to bring it up and the most inconvenient times. This was and still is his specialty.
When everything went to shit and everyone started to become zombies, Roman did not know what to do. He'd lost his mother and his best friends, even the dog was dead. Climbing into the family SUV, he swerved out of his driveway and drove as far as he could until the gas ran out. When he finally did run out of gas, that is the day he met Justin. He looked up to the man and batted his eyelashes, afraid and willing to do whatever he could to be around someone human. He didn't want to run the man away already, so he did what he did normally. Defense mechanism... He pretended to be completely innocent...
