It's Canada's independence day and it's now 159 years old🥳🥳 now it's time for my little rant for the character!!

Where do I even begin with Matthew, well he's a character I cherish dearly and he also genuinely had a big impact on my life. The last time I remember I loved a character this much is about 3 years ago, so liking Canada this much has definitely done an impact to me🥹 he always light up my mood and cheers me up when I'm down, I don't usually celebrate character's birthdays but Matthew has a special place in my heart so it's no surprise I'm celebrating his. I'll make some cookies later instead of a cake since that's all the energy I have for right now but it's still for Matthew so there's a lot of love being put into them(*ˊᗜˋ*) no words can express how excited I was to make this post for his birthday since I love and care for Canada so much an just wanted to express it in anyway I can. Finding canada with any type of reader is so hard, there so much smut and most of it also includes x reader ships with others🫠🫠 it just wanna read fluff but it's quite hard˶ˊᜊˋ˶

I feel an immense amount of annoyance whenever i see comments or videos saying "who's canada?" or "isn't that America?", anything along those lines. It's unfunny and gets old very quickly due to how repetitive it is. I would actually feel annoyed for a while whenever I come across that type of content. It's also easy to tell if someone is new to the fandom if they make those jokes (no hate at all to new hetalia fans I just see a pattern with new fans making these jokes) or the person is just one of THOSE fans and are annoying. I know this is a non-issue and it's just a fictional character but I got reminded of those "jokes" and wanted to express how I felt about them so I came on here.
