I randomly got back into Hetalia and it inspired me to do some research of my family and look into genealogy on FamilySearch.

I was quite aware most my blood is Québécois- who can forget our Papa grumbling "sac de papier" every now and again in Cribbage after a bad hand?!

But I found some surprising things such as one gr-grandma having British roots, what? I'm in my 30s just learning this?! WHAT?!?!? IM BRITISH??!?!? help💀

My Greek side was a bit emotional to research; my gr-grandpa on that side died very young and only had 1 child, my grandma who was only 20 when he died. so it makes sense why I never heard much about that side of the family other than "we're Greek." It was hard to find them too; European names were Anglicized & had typos ALL the time when they immigrated. But after meticulous checking and rechecking and record searching, I found him AND my gr-gr grandparents, and their documentation to America, and I even learned my gr-gr-grandma was originally from a tiny little village just south of Sparta, how neat is that?

Oh, and they're buried 10 mins from me, in a cemetery I've walked a few times. I paid a visit, and laid flowers, and cried. A lot.

I'm soooo proud of all them all and so thankful they made it possible so that I can be here today. :) Neat stuff.

Hetalia new episodes???

Apparently in the 20th arniversary event it was revealed that 4 new episodes of world stars will come out! Fans also said the uk bros will appear along with Romania, Bulgaria, and Moldova. Take this info with a grian of salt cuz this is just what i've gathered from posts of japanese fans who went to the event :p
