The Mobilewashing AU acts as both an Au and a rewrite to the Mouthwashing ripoff, “Mouthwash: Space Tragedy”. Beyond the main original five, this story adds in more characters – some of which are based off other Mouthwashing ripoff characters.
The story/characters/themes will pull a lot of inspiration from both Mouthwash: Space Tragedy as well as Mouthwashing itself. The latter in particular will take certain aspects of the story and find different ways to explore them. I do not claim this to be an entirely, 100% fully original story; similarities between this story and Mouthwashing’s in particular is intentional
While nothing extremely inappropriate is shown, due to the heavier themes, this is a more mature story/au, and should be treaded carefully

Resilient, strong, wise, a tough cookie, these are what many would call Matilda; she’s a woman with years and years of life, work, and general experience in just about anything. You have an issue or question? You come to Matilda; she’s got all the answers. She tells things how it is, often posing a very “no nonsense” manner, sitting down with anyone to tell them just what they need to hear. It’s gained her the status by the crew – current and former, new and old – as a Mama Bear, and understandably so.
But how long can Mama Bear keep the image of confidence up? Well, she’s kept it up for her entire life, that has to say something, yeah? Her taking on the role of caretaker and provider to her two parents as a child has to show her strength, right? She surely is just an old soul whose always been that way, the most mature child of the group; practically an adult. Giving, and giving, and giving, and giving. It’s what she’s always done the best. It’s what people love her for, to be the rock to lean on, a shoulder to cry on, the support that every struggling person needs.
Even when she’s married, she’s given and given and given to her husband for 20+ years. It’s all she’s done, even when she can’t give their family kids she can still give in other ways. She can be a good wife, a good motherly figure, a good provider and caretaker. Even at Canary Cargo, she can still be good for that. But how long can Mama Bear keep this up. When will everyone stop seeing her as Mama Bear and finally see her as Matilda?
Captain Mobilewashing breaks every bone in his body and lays motionless on the pavement in 480(maybe?)p.

I’m going to be updating the character info images soon since I tweaked around their skin colors to make everyone feel less “dead”. Except for the corpses and Jim Co-Pilot. Jim just has really bad skin
I want to sort of break down Tilly (Matilda) just a bit. Imagine your whole life you needed to take care of your family. Your mother, your father, siblings and practically everyone who came by. You weren’t allowed to be a child, you were always the adult of the house from the moment you came out from your mom. You were the caretaker; the cook; the babysitter; The “Mother”.
Cut to years later down the line, for this long you’ve kept up a facade of strength, quick wit and charm with a dash of wisdom. You’re the cook of a space freighter company crew now. It’s a little tense, but it’s doable, the crew likes you well enough, that’s better than what they can say about most anyways. Even the higher ranking girl with stubby hair. And you’ve seemingly escaped the title of Mother that you were assigned on earth. You feel pretty fine
So why worry when that same stubby-haired girl comes up to you in private right before lights out to tell you something. Why worry when she goes on about her family struggles from Earth, no mom and a controlling dad. What’s the worry in her saying that she looks up to you.
Oh and I should mention, you can do that self ship stuff with the characters minus Caspian. Go kiss 'em if you want. Or be their friends, or something, I know that stuff comes romantically or platonically or in whatever other form.
This sort of goes without saying - what with my previous reblogs - but you can absolutely make any of the Mobilewashing AU characters in either Tomodachi Life game, full permission granted. I'd love to see it too
Who would they main in smash brothersAND what do they usually get at the gas station. Their gas station order. Words
Swanz mains Falco and Banjo & Kazooie, Tilly doesn't really have a main but does often play as Steve/Alex, plus there's some other older freighter members who have primary characters but nobody else really plays the game nor do they... Nor do they actually know what you'd be talking about with Smash Brothers. But I'm giving them ones anyways

As for gas station orders, the crew would rather not say. But Captain knows what they all like! And he can always answer the question for them instead: He likes getting big packs of whatever, stuff that can qualify as family packs with its sheer size
Canary Cargo does often offer plenty of snacks, refreshments, and other things on the freighters themselves (what with their freighters having chefs), so there's no need to stop for snacks anywhere! You can stay right on the freighter for the duration of your delivery trip, the whole time!

The only ones who don't have a solid voice claim are Captain, Sonny, Swanz, Winnie, Caspian and Tilly. I especially want to see if there's any other good voices that fit Captain since it needs to be both 1) Friendly and 2) Have an Australian accent, since he's Australian. I know Bandit's an obvious option but I want to see if there's more out there for him
