Sasha Nein isnât surprised to find Tancho Academy to be a bit on the dull side. Despite the hopes that he and Milla would be sent here for fantastic and supernatural reasons rivaling the incident involving the now former presidentâs missing brain and a platoon of great white sharks, Sasha dully figures that heâs merely here to babysit a bunch of children, a few of which being psychics. Key word being âa fewâ.Â
Sighing softly, he walks with hands shoved in his pockets, and a now spent cigarette dangling between his lips. He idly wonders what he should do and where he should go. Much of the surrounding town has been explored already, and certainly, the entirety of the school has as well. There is almost nothing that has been left unexplored and almost no one that has been left observed casually at a distance with a scientific eye.
And then, out of the corner of his eyes, he seesâŠit.
Sashaâs brows furrow at the sight of the tacky, brightly colored lamp positioned so innocently upon the edge of a nearby desk. Out of all of the disgusting, vile things that could have happened upon Tancho, the Psychonautâs eyes come across a Tiffany Lamp.
âWhat a bother. To think that something like this would dare show up here. No matter, I will just dispose of this wretched thing and none will be the wiser,â Sasha Nein mutters under his breath. His muttering is quickly followed by a well placed psi-blast, which shatters the horrid lamp in a mere instant, leaving only a slightly smoldering smudge where it once stood.Â
Predictably enough, the sound of footsteps near the psychic, who merely lets out an almost guilty sigh in response. Lazily, he waves towards whomever is approaching, his face looking as blank as possible. No need to act like youâve just destroyed school property, after all! âYes? Is there anything that you need?â
Strolling down the hallways, Charles found himself irritated, lip raised up into a sneer. Things were too dull at this school. The routine was painfully drab- Wake up, go to classes, faint and wake up in the nurses office, go to bed, repeat. Maddening. He was thankful for the single relationship he had, but he felt like more of an outcast here than the actual outcasts. Charles' thoughts begin drifting to the past, the desirable days, filled with blessed sin and bloodshed- The sudden sound of shattering glass fills the air, tearing the boy right out of those possessing, horrible thoughts. With Charles' inhuman hearing, it sounded as though it was very close. A certain energy surrounded the air, something was amiss here. Preparing for a confrontation, Charles knelt down and crept along the wall, tracing the unfamiliar energies to an empty classroom. He prepares for the worst as he lunches through the doorway, not even realizing there was a person speaking- or even a person for that matter. The boy found himself bumping right into that person- the source of these haywire energies in the room. As Charles was reeling back, he was readying himself to lunge at the-
Was that a smouldering-something on the desk.
Okay, so it wasn't some horrible monster. Probably just a teacher. But he knew this class, and that certainly wasn't the corresponding teacher. But the energy he was sensing from this person and the smouldering-something were incredible. Lifting a shaky finger, Charles just about ignored the person and what they had to say, pointing to the ashes on the desk. "What exactly, are you doing in here..." His eyes quickly darted from the pile of smouldering-something to the man, and back and back again. "Wasn't that once.. a lamp..."
