[ok so i have honestly been struggling along since like..... before christmas???? to actually like.... idk..??? feel motivated to rp at all??? Idk, honestly i’m more interested in my own original content and also other fandoms such as Osomatsu-san. I’m more into just writing fanfics out or flesh out my own OCs. Rping is such a political game lately for whatever bull shit and it’s a lot of effort for me to keep up with so many great plots while i can barely stay in one piece let alone three people (me, canni, and bakurah). So uh... yeah, idk when i’ll be back and I’m sorry. I have a plot going for canni with demon and a baby on the way but like???????? i can’t????? stay motivated???? He swallowed hard as he realized she didn’t respond to the ghost. Did she not see her? He felt even more worried and held the doll to his chest again. He felt a chill run up his spine as she spoke, forcing himself to get a grip quickly with his candy coated smile.

“Thanks… I hope this will do greatly for the shop!” He nodded quickly, “I’ll join you.”

He followed her quickly as the small child followed him, making a curious question, “How come her belly is so big?”

“She’s going to be a mommy,” he answered without thinking, looking back to the ghost child as he made his way out. It was a bit haunting to see the child go right through the walls to keep up with him.

She gave a smile as he followed , arms wrapping around one of his biceps, cheek resting against his shoulder, they could make this work and everything would be-. The demoness was thinking before she heard his answer the spirit a confused brow arched  “Hm?, baby who are you talking to?” 

She asked,she knew he had seen the spirit but didn’t know he could communicate with her. Finally passing threw he door the odd feeling seemed to vanish slowly, taking a seat on the step, a hand resting atop her abdomen.

Leaning back on the step looking up with a sigh, the weather had been screwy that week, cold warm cold warm and she could feel he temperature changing again, her attention going back to him.

“U-Uh...” could she not see the small ghost child? He looked to Demon with a forced smile and shook off any visable signs of worry, “Just the uh... doll.”

“It varies how much someone can see certain ghosts... some people can see none, some people can see some, and some people can see all... it just depends...” Gracie spoke with a disappointed expression. He took note on this and wasn’t sure if he hoped he could only see some or all. 

He sat with her and put the doll to his side so he could hold her hand, “Are you ok? I hope this isn’t too stressful for you...”

He felt her grab his hoodie and he nodded, stepping back slowly and closing the door. He looked back at her to be sure she was safe before looking to the doll. He held the doll up and gave it a questioning look.

“Who even was that?” he spoke to the doll, not expecting the answer to come from behind him instead of from the doll.

“That’s Chris! 1pm is quiet hour for him!” the ghost girl piped up, looking up at Canni with a smile.

Demon let out a breath “What the hell was that” she spoke breathless”Damn room was so cold” she spoke, unlike the male she didn’t see nor heard the little voice of the spirit, only thing she seen was Canni looking as if he had a heart attack. “We’ll definitely need to get someone to check into that or like you said research”

“Honey I’m going to go outside and have a seat on the steps getting a stomach ache”  she spoke brushing her fingers threw her hair before giving his a smile “Don’t stay up here to long until we get  a handle on this”. With a brush of her fingers thew the candy addicts tinted locks and two pecks to his lips “Besides that room, the place is amazing love true in  need of repairs but that just makes it even better, you did an awesome job baby” Turning and heading out to take a breathers though not before giving his rear a playful little pat chuckling.

The demoness stared at the spirit, eyes small piercing white, the hairs on the back of her neck stood, she could feel the shift in the room the temperature drop to the point of their breath visible, humans always said that the dead couldn’t harm you, that was the biggest lie she had ever heard. “Canni” she whispered his name tugging on the hood of his candy cane red hoodie “I think we need to back out slowly”

She didn’t give him much choice as she moved giving his hoodie a tug, the room was so quiet, with each step she could hear the board creek below even the birds outside were silent, as if the room was a world of it’s own with nothing but dark and cold  which was silly. Demon needed to get him her and their baby out of there pronto.

She gave another tug at his hood, she would need to get a hold of the Death Dealer or something “We;ll leave and close the door, we’ll go to the store and get a latch or pad lock” she whispered again, she could hear the beams above as the temperature seemed to drop even more the sound of wood shifting.

He watched her and the doll carefully, hoping nothing of harm would come to the doll. He wanted to keep them both safe but felt so unsure on how demons handled ghosts. He listened as she spoke and gave small short nods.

“I didn’t ask how she died, but I’m guessing our uh… house ghosts probably had a shitty death considering they’re in Old Domino. And I hate to say it but I gotta research later how to get blood stains out. The seller told me they did the best they could with the little money they had so uh… we may be replacing some floor boards,” he answered with a small explanation.

He felt a small wave of relief as he realized she was acting a bit more accepting of the situation. He gave a small smile and looked over her shoulder to see the child of the doll behind Demon with a sign of relief, as well. He felt himself freeze up but kept a smile on.

“I’m uh… I’m glad to hear! You uh…” he put a hand on her shoulder, unsure if he wanted to keep her looking at him or turn her around. Either way he made a move to take the doll from her gently. He was still cautious for the baby inside of Demon.

As the doll was taken from her hands the demoness only gave a soft chuckle unaware of the little soul behind her “I know some tricks to get blood out,  white vinegar is a girls best friend”  with a smile she ran her hand over his cheek , walking past up to the porch to the door giving the handle a turn heading inside, spirits or not the demonic was still  excited.

The rooms were indeed big and spacious the thoughts of spirits already had been pushed to the back of the females mind as she looked from room to room already thinking of were what should go. “I’ll have to inspect every spot in case some things were left behind..” she thought out loud, the things being remains, coming to the room with the mold she pulled a napkin from her pocket holding it over her nose and mouth, with her keen sense of smell she could smell the faint scent of death “Yes this room will definitely have to be gutted and redone” Leaving the room the demon looked up the steps there was something indeed odd feeling up there,not dangerous just odd.

Hand idly running over her abdomen deciding to climb the steps and see the other rooms, pausing when she came to the one holding the ghastly blood stains.

He followed her easily, holding the doll to his chest as the small ghost child trailed behind him. He noticed the ghost disappear back to the doll as they went through the house together. He followed her gaze to the top of the stairs and took care to follow her closely. He refused to let harm come to her and was ready to move in front of her at moments notice. 

“Why are there people disturbing nap time?”

Inside the ruined room stood a young boy no older than 11 standing in the middle of the room. He stood in a shadow but kept his eyes on the intruders. Canni felt his stomach twist tightly at the sight of him and could feel the doll shift in his hold. 

“Oh boy...” he breathed out and looked to Demon now, moving in front of her protectively and half considered just making her straight up leave with him. Sell  the house, try again at another building, get the fuck out of this horror movie.

To anyone else this would have seemed ludicrous and have the boy put in a padded cell , how ever the demonic knew how things worked being literally from hell. “It’s alright love, you’ve seen her?” she asked reaching to take take hold of the broken and beat up doll, now Demon wasn’t really fond of dolls and their lifeless creepy eyes or the forever expression of emotion but she could handle it.

“There are others trapped here?” she couldn’t sense any other demonic energies or presence within the area which was good meaning the spirit wasn’t a mask “Her death was either quick or agonizingly painful for her to still be here or she’s managed to get past the Death Dealers Reapers.With my presence here they shouldn’t return demons tend to avoid other demons until heat season” The demoness thought  out loud fingertips running over the battered and beaten dolls face.

  “A child of six.. I can see why of all people the spirit chose you with child like wonderment  along with the positive and up beat nature she felt safe I’m assuming” Looking backup at the house she could seen what appeared to be a hazy human like figure, apparently not everyone in the house was as pure there was still sin there. Her mind went to the growing little one should they expose them to this?, true they were already part of the Underworld just for having the shared blood in their veins.

“I wouldn’t say it’s your responsibility..” the maternal  side of her was kicking in, picturing a lost little girl alone and afraid with only strangers lurking around her, the pregnant female bit her bottom lip feeling a lump in her throat.

Taking a minute before looking back up at him “What do six year olds like to play with?” her way of saying ‘yes we’re keeping the doll’

He smiled and gave a snicker as she described the child’s antics. Well, at least the child had as much energy as he did. He gave her a kiss back and held her close.

When she brought up the doll, he felt his insides twist anxiously but he kept his smile on in front of her. He picked the doll up and held it up for her to see, unsure how to handle this.

“U-uh… I guess this belonged to the previous owners… I guess they bought this for their daughter but when the family died, no one wanted to buy it from their next of kin so it got left behind along with a few other things. I uh… I think we should fix it up! In honor of them, maybe? It’s only fair since we are turning their home into a shop…” he tried to find his words quickly, speaking a mile a minute as he tried to keep himself composed before holding the doll to his chest, “Besides… it’s like an early gift for the baby!”

He wondered idly what the ghost thought of this, hoping not to anger the small child that haunted the doll. He couldn’t see her around them so he hoped it was fine for now.

She looked from the doll to him and back to the doll between the two “Canni you know I can tell when somethings up” the demoness spoke arms crossing over her chest “You talk a mile a minute and you sweat, plus baby we have no idea what-wait..a family was killed in there?”

looking at the building, lord know what things could have taken place, this was definitely going to be a big job. turning her attention back to Canni and the doll “Baby that’s sweet and all but we don’t even know what happened or if that thing was a murder weapon of if there was any funny business going on I think it might be better if we got rid of it, we can buy a new doll for our baby, or keep it in the attic” excitement was replaced by curiousness, she’d have to do some research on the property.

“Alright you calm down” she spoke with a chuckle hand resting  “Oh love the babys kicking want to feel? when we get inside?”

His composure immediately faltered as she called him out. Fair, she was the only one who's memorized his anxiety habits. But he still wanted to keep the doll in pity.

"I... Yeah, I... I'm sorry," he faltered and looked to the doll, "The doll... I... Yeah, it's... Haunted." He mumbled now as he was unsure on how demons handled ghosts, "She looks like she's six years old and said that the owners of the home bought her doll... But now the owners of the home can't leave. I didn't see the others but... She doesn't look harmful, she looks like she was just a kid. I feel bad if we toss the doll. Isn't it my responsibility since I now own this place?"
