This situation was something that wasn't supposed to happen, actually it was a really bad thing. While they were on a mission the Nein weren't supposed to be apart, or at least not like this. As Jester turned to look at Cadeceus she tried to hide how nervous this made her. It wasn't lack of trust, it was the fact that they were alone and the others didn't have a cleric with them... This was bad.

Who knew if they were even together? What if someone was hurt? What if they got hurt? So many questions ran through her mind. Jester took a deep breath and returned to her act, not smoothly, but it was good enough.

The Tiefling stepped closer to him and nodded, it was a bad situation but she would never let anything get her down "They are really messy, you know? They definetly need to clerics to stay safe" she smiled and started walking a bit faster. They would find the Mighty Nein and everyone would be okay.

Modern AU

Jester grew up completely isolated from people her age and from the outside because her mother was scared of the media attention her daughter could get.

She was sent away when she pranked a politician in one of her mom's parties.

Jester studies art, and is in her second university. The first one kicked her out, according to the paper work she was problematic (she can't deny that) but her mom and her know that the politician also payed to get her out.

She lives in another City, and misses her mom too much. Sadly returning to her home won't be possible anytime soon so she has to make the best out of the calls and texts they share.

Her mom helps her pay her studio, her school and her clothes. She has to pay for her pets food and the random things she likes so she started working in a tattoo shop.

She's really active in social media and posts some great art and tattoos along with random or badly taken pictures of people, but mostly her pets.

Her house is full of three things. Paintings, sweets/pastries and animals she has found along the way.

She's got a dog, a ferret, a parrot, two fish and a turtle. No one knows how she has managed to survive with all of them but there she is.

Once someone stole a huge ammount of her money because her cards nip was 1234... That was a hard month.

Working as a tattoo artist is amazing, but many people ask why she doesn't have many tattoos. What they don't know is she does, they're just really well placed.

Her bookshelf is full of smut. People found that out by reading the back of one of them.

She's a pagan, follower of the Traveler and that's where her powers come from. Her contact with her god is really strange and personal, but she loves him.

Her religion and appearance (she's a blue tiefling) make her a bit of an outcast everywhere she goes.

She's an anonymous graffiti artist with a big online following.

Nott is her graffiti partner and she will always be.

The only tattoo she always shows is one Nott made. It's on her shoulder.

“I’m fine. Sorry if I’m worrying you, I don’t mean to.” He paused. “Why don’t you try casting Sending again? Maybe they’ll be able to answer this time.”

She pouted and looked at him, like she was trying to see if he was lying. All Jester wanted was to make sure everyone was okay, that he wasn't breaking without telling her.

"It's okay, really. I'm worried too..." she looked down and nodded "I will do that. Maybe they were distracted." she cleared her throat, drew something in the air and started

"Hi Nott, it's Jester. Where are you? Caduceus and I are trying to fing you but we can't really know until you tell us, you know? We're worried" that was definetly too many words but they should reply now

Caduceus had experience lying, but he probably wasn’t doing a good enough job to really convince Jester he was okay. The slight frown that always played at his lips was most likely a dead give away.

He had this dreadful feeling in his stomach. His mind kept wandering to Fjord. It felt as if the Wildmother was urging them to move faster. Maybe she was trying to tell him that Fjord was in trouble.

He gave Jester a minute after she cast her spell, then asked, “Did you hear anything?”

She frowned a bit and touched his arm "Caduceus you have to tell me if you're not okay, we only have each other right now" there was no one else to save them and if they kept hiding things it wouldn't end up well.

She could lie, she could tell him she heard some snoring or something but at that point it wouldn't be useful at all so she just shook her head. They hadn't replied, not even a single word. It was the silence what bothered her.

He put an arm around Jester’s shoulders for a brief moment.

“I’m sorry, Jester. I’m just nervous. I’ve got this- this sinking feeling in my stomach, and I’m afraid it might be a sign from the Wildmother that something might be seriously wrong. Please don’t worry about me too much though, I’ll be fine.”

She looked at him and shook her head "don't apologize, I'm a bit nervous too"

Jester was a liar, she was extremely nervous, she knew if Caduceus wasn't there she would be an absolute mess and yet... She had to lie because she couldn't be a worry "Cad... What if the thing that's off isn't their safety but ours?"

Caduceus took a deep breath. Jester’s question scared him, sure, but he would be relieved if the others were okay. The only problem would be Jester potentially getting hurt. 

“Jester, can you promise something very important to me?”

It was a quick change of perspective and even if it made her feel a bit calm because maybe the others were okay she was worried about them. She hugged herself and turned to him.

"Well, it depends. If you want me to promise I will take care of you I can" she half smiled. "but tell me, Caduceus"

“If we absolutely have to, and it’s life or death for one of us, I want you to run. Just leave and go find the others again. It’s better for you to go back to them without me than for neither of us to return.”

She was probably going to disagree, but he didn’t to say it. The others needed Jester, but they didn’t really need him.

"No..." she replied quickly "I would never leave you behind, we all need you, Caduceus." she sniffed "I would never leave if we're in trouble. You know that" she held him closer and pressed her cheek against his arm quickly.

"don't ever say that again, we're a family..." she whispered and sniffed again.

“I know, Jester.” He placed his hand on top of her head. “But they need you more than they need me. They’ve known you longer, they like you more than they like me. They’d be more happy to see only you come back than they would be to see only me.”

He felt terrible for saying that, but he believed it was true. They liked her more. He felt as if he was more so just along for the ride with the Mighty Nein.

"You are wrong" a small pout appeared on her lips as she continued "They care about us like the same ammount. They would be really hurt if they lost any of us so we have to avoid it! We will stick together and get to them, there is no other option" she said while biting her lip a bit, it hurt her to know he thought that.

Jester knew her friends, she knew how badly it had hurt them to lose a friend, how much it had hurt her. There was no way she would leave him to die, she would protect him with everything she had.

Okay, so maybe he wasn’t as practised at pranking as Jester, but it was a start. And his intention hadn’t really been to prank, but to put a smile back on her face, so in that respect it had been a success. The twinkle of mischief was back in her violet eyes, and already he could see she was planning something.

“That wasn’t great? I thought that was pretty damn good for my first attempt.” He steps forwards to pay for the large box of pastries, secretly quite pleased with his plan, and after taking the box Fjord, turned towards the door leading back out on to the street.

“Second thoughts, maybe I am best suited to the Wildmother, I don’t think I have your talent for.. chaos.” He says with a chuckle, casting his gaze upon the statue Jester had been eyeing before they headed into the bakery.

Walking a little way from the sweet smells of the bakery, Fjord found them a quiet spot to sit for a moment and sample their freshly purchased treats. “Before you start on whatever it is you’re planning, how about trying some of these, I don’t think they have cinnamon in them, but they smell kinda good.” Fjord offering out the pastries to Jester. Something of a sugar boost to fuel her mischief. 

“So,” he began again after a short pause and a mouthful of pastry, which wasn’t overly sweet for his tastes, “What are you planning? I saw you looking at the statue before, and you had that look, like you were plotting something.”

Jester giggled, the fact that he had tried so hard to make her smile was heartwarming. She knew his pranks would never be as good as hers, but it was probably because he wasn't a paladin of the Traveler which seemed like a bad choice but maybe it was just Jester. She offered him a bright and warm smile and shook her head.

"Weeeell" she held her own hands. The prank wasn't bad but it wasn't exactly up to her standards "It wasn't terrible, but you can learn a lot, like really a lot" she smiled again "but don't worry, I can teach you" she was back, all her movements were full of energy and excitement like they usually were.

"not everyone has the talent for chaos, Fjord, specially mine. That's why the Traveler chose me" her words weren't nice but it was clear she meant it in the best way. She was just used to being the only one that would prank anyone and everything she felt like she should, not many would even help her.

The little Tiefling walked quickly towards the bench and sat down quickly, excitement clearly showing in her eyes and the way her tail moved "Well, cinnamon can always make things better but! I'm so hungry I can just eat them without it" she stretched her hands, waiting for him to give her one of the pastries and then took it. Crying made her really hungry.

She took a bite of her pastry and turned to him. She took a second to finish her bite and nodded "what if you distract everyone..." she said as she took another bite and paused again "and I paint all the statues I can, specially that one"

One of the last things the Aasimar had expected was to be out this late. She wasn’t one to complain and kept most of her thoughts to herself but she’d be lying if she said she wasn’t expecting her night to go like this. What she had expected was her and Molly to take care of a quick deal and the night was their own. They were free to do what they wish but things didn’t always go as plan. Now she was spending her time patrolling a area owned by the Traveling Curiosities. The duo along with the rest of the gang had gotten word that there were spotting of other gang members around the area.

So now here she was. In the middle of the winter night, patrolling the area assigned to her. The jacket she wore was old leather with fur on the inside. The collar of it propped up, blocking some of the cold wind out of her face and neck. The monochrome colors she wore kept her unnoticed for the most part blending in with the night around her. The heavy boots she wore matching with the ripped jeans she had on, a few chains resting on her hips. In no means was Yasha trying to be stealthy. The activity that they were told about happened hours ago and wasn’t expecting anything to happen, but here she was worrying about her Tiefling friend. The two never really split off like this. She knew Mollymauk could handle himself completely but she also knew his tongue could cause him more trouble than good at points. He didn’t know when to stop but he also knew how to cut a good deal whenever it came by.

This was different though. If he was caught off guard, talking wouldn’t get him out of it. It wasn’t a deal, it was him being unlucky and with him and his...bright style of clothing, he would be easy to spot if he wasn’t carful. He even stood out more than the woman who was well over six foot with broad shoulders, lean but also held a lot of muscle to her. Her hair that went from black to white naturally. Her different colored eyes but yet Molly was the one to stand out. She said it was his clothing but he always argued back it was his great looks that caught both men and woman to off guard to stare a little longer than they should have.

The thought of it made Yasha let out a breathless low chuckle. Her thoughts all at once were cut off by the sound of, clicking? No a can, a spray paint can. With a sigh she made her way toward the source of the sound before slowing her pace once it stopped and she heard talking.

“You with the Traveling Curiosities? You look too...innocent to be apart of it.” Came a rough, gravelly voice, “you’re pretty brave being out here alone!”

Stepping toward the back of the building her hands in her pockets the long haired woman watch for a few seconds studying the scene in front of her. A blue Tiefling and a Dragonborn, his red scales bright. The wall of the building had the looks of a start of a spray paint drawing. The gear resting against the wall. The Tiefling who face, was facing her, looked worried. Her hands covered in rubber gloves and a face mask that hung around her neck. While the Dragonborn stood there with a leather jacket on, the sleeves torn off, she made her way toward them quietly. On the back however the symbol stood out. A different gang member. Not from the Traveling Curiosities.

She watched his figure slowly disappear into the night, not saying a word, but the blue Tiefling hadn’t left her mind. Putting her hands in her pockets once more she turned her attention to the young woman, “what are you doing?” She asked her eyes glancing over at the layouts of the drawing before back at the shorter woman.

The Tiefling had messed up the moment she had walked without directions. Hours ago Jester had expected to just find herself somewhere safe, or at least somewhere she could get out of but all those plans had failed and she didn't even notice until ir was too late. She had walked and walked looking around with curious eyes and a big smile, never wondering where she was or how much time had passed until there was no trace of the sun and she found out maybe, just maybe she was lost. The place where she stood looked nothing like the places she knew. The names of the street didn't ring a bell and all stores were closed... But what could happen? Her City was pretty safe right? There was nothing to fear, all she had to do was send a message to her mom and tell her to send someone for her because she got lost and she would do that! But first a bit of art would really help the ugly alley behind her.

It would be a quick sketch, nothing too impressive because she had to get back home before her mom got too worried. A face would look right, or maybe the moon. The wall seemed to give her a thousand ideas before Jester could pick what would look better. Her lips moved to the side, one idea had finally won. She pulled her equipment out of her bag, she put her gloves and her face mask on. One more glance at the wall and the calming sound of her spray paint distracted her from the world. Her mind was focused on the task of painting flowers and figuring out how to hide dicks in them for some time, her art being the only thing that her senses noticed until some steps interrupted her. It was nothing, she thought, so she continued painting.

A voice came after the steps and because of this she was forced to put her can away and pull her mask down . Jester turned and with one glance at the person standing near her she knew this was trouble. This guy was huge, and his voice was strong. He was intimidating and that seemed to make her brain shut down because even though she heard him talk his words weren't easy to understand and all she ended up getting was like 'something something innocent something Traveling Curiosities' pause 'something something alone'. It left her blank, with no idea about what to do "I..." what could she possible say? 'I was just painting?' He didn't say a thing, he looked at her, her heart started beating. Could the Dragonborn hear it? She prayed to the Traveller he couldn't.

A moment passed, not a word had been spoken. Her mind racing to find a way out of the situation until for some reason he left, he just walked away leaving her in shock and breathing heavily. What had she thought? A blue tiefling with a yellow dress with flowers would always call attention and this time it was bad. Her City wasn't safe and she had felt it for the first time in a while.

"what are you doing?" Jester looked at the source of the new voice, fear clear in her eyes. All she could think was something bad would happen but the woman infront of her wasn't looking at her like the guy from before. She turned to her drawing, the outline of the flowers she had attempted to draw were clear on the wall "I was just painting a bit, I thought this place could use some color" she said with her heavy accent. A small smile appeared on her lips even though her hands were shaking.

It was strange for the Tiefling to hear such a soft voice from a person who held a stern look. The dark black makeup/paint that went around her eyes making the only true color from her stand out. The green and purple eyes that now stared back at the young woman. When she spoke it was directed to the blue woman only for her to hear. She stood there with a raised eyebrow waiting for a response from the Tiefling who clearly held fear. Did she know how far she stumbled off? From what she wore she had more money than most people out here but it stood out a lot. The yellow, bright, contrasting from her blue skin. The bag she had with all the spray paint.

Yasha surprisingly felt bad for the woman. The guarded stance she held, with her shoulders back and the way she stood tall with a hard-to-read face, dropped only slightly. She had acted like that toward the Dragonborn because he truly wasn’t meant to be here. The Traveling Curiosities was an underground gang. Unknown to the public. The only people who knew were the people who decided to look and do their research. Along with the few apart of the gang. Hearing the Tiefling speak her accent was strong. Yasha held one of her own but was hard to hear unless someone chose to look for it.

She stayed quiet, hands in her pockets as she glanced over at the painting once more then back at the Tiefling. She stood there as if she were in thought. Thinking of her next words to say. The way her jaw tensed and un-tensed. She really was thinking on what to say next. What was she going to tell this stranger. With a huff of her breath she turned to the wall before speaking.

“I guess you’re right. Make it quick. You shouldn’t be in this area.” She said before leaning against the wall a few feet away. She wasn’t just going to leave the Tiefling in the open again. She also wanted to make sure that she was out of their area and not just staying around to cause more trouble. She was quiet glanced ever so often at the painting. Even for a minute she had pulled out her phone her fingers tapping away on the screen before turning it off and stuffing it away in her pocket.

When she heard the sound of cans shaking and the spray on the paint stop and come to a silence, she pushed herself off the wall and stepped to where the Tiefling stood and looked back the now finished piece, “it’s beautiful.” She said her eyes looking over the whole thing. Her voice was genuine and meant what she said despite the lack of words. Turning her attention to the woman she spoke, “you should start heading back. I can follow you until you feel like you’re in a safer area.”

She followed the shorter woman in silence once more. Despite the way Yasha looked and how she didn’t talk much she held calming presence to her. One that wasn’t there when the Dragonborn was there. When Yasha has appeared she held anger and rage but after that it was gone in only seconds. She made sure to listen to the blue woman whenever she spoke though. Her eyes forced on her and speaking up and asking questions whenever she felt like she should.

The woman that came was nice, or at least not scary for her. Something about her told Jester it would be okay while she was there, probably because this nice lady was quite intimidating and the Tiefling was sure if this person got angry she would have been terrified. But that wasn't the situation. Jester was staring, but it wasn't in a rude way, she was just really curious about her. She was tall, strong and quite pretty, she was expressive in small ways and the small woman thought maybe she had never seen someone as interesting in her whole life. Slowly, a small smile returned to her face and her stance changed to one a bit more confident all because of the lady she just met.

The woman was right, probably, there was no way she was supposed to be there so late. Jester didn't belong there, or at least not like she was right there but maybe something had led her to that place... Maybe they were supposed to meet. When she told her she could finish a big smile lit up her face, she didn't dare to thank her but the way she jumped when she started painting said it all. Quickly she continued painting, trying to do the best she could with the time given. Colors began to fill the wall until she was satisfied with the result.

She put her stuff inside her purse and turned to look at the woman again, wanting to see her reaction. The Tiefling stood there, excitement showing in her eyes when the woman said it was beautiful "It's pretty good, isn't it? I hope you and your friends enjoy it!" she giggled and got a bit closer "yeah, I should head back... My mom will be so so worried" her smile fell slightly but returned a moment after "umm where am I, though?" she had no idea at all

With fake confidence she started walking, trying to remember where she had been before and how she had gotten there "I'm Jester, it's really nice to meet you... Ummm" she never knew her name, how could she forget? "what's your name?" she said nicely, stepping a bit closer to her and waited for an answer. When she got one she continue talking, hoping she wouldn't notice she had no idea where she was going "and what do you do?"

Yasha looked at the detailing of the painting on the wall, “yeah I’m sure they will. You’re pretty good at graffiti.” She glancing at the artist before taking in each detail. She had even stepped a few steps forward. She had always had a soft spot for flowers. She even had her own little garden box that sat on one of the windows in her and Molly’s apartment. Once she finished looking at it she turned to the blue Tiefling and hearing her not knowing where she was Yasha let out a little hum in response as she began to think.

After a few seconds the Aasimar spoke, “where do you live? I can lead you far enough until you know where you are.” Whenever she got the address of the house the young woman lived in she knew it exactly where that was. Well what area it was in. If Yasha had took a wild guess on where this Tiefling was from, before even asking, she’d have got it right. The clothes and spray paint and the bag. It was all too nice for the area they stood in now. She followed the shorter woman but ever so often Yasha told her companion that it was the other way and soon they were on track.

When she had finally got a name Yasha paused for a second, her body tensing and her shoulders brought back as Jester got closer to her waiting for a name in return, “Yasha.” She said softly. Then just like that Jester was skipping in front of the tall woman. Hearing the question she looked at Jester without a word for a few seconds thinking out a reply. She had helped the cheerful woman from the Dragonborn but it didn’t mean Yasha herself wasn’t a good person. No far from it. But then again just minutes ago she had watched Jester spray paint a wall. It was very similar to ones she had seen around the city.

So this was the culprit behind all the beautiful graffiti art around the city but also making police scratch their heads trying to figure out who was the cause of them all. Of course Jester would be the last person to be caught from these crimes. She was sweet and looked innocent. After a few seconds she spoke, “I’m kind of like a bodyguard,” She said with a shrug, “for a friend.” After that it was clear that Yasha wasn’t going to go into it. Her answers were honest but short. It wasn’t complicated and she wasn’t planning on making it a whole conversation on how the stuff she did was bad.

A proud smile appeared on her lips "Well, I'm quite famous you know" she looked at her and put her finger against her lips "but it's a secret, no one's supposed to know that" Jester knew she wouldn't see that woman again and even if she did, for some strange reason the woman seemed trustworthy. "well, people would know if it wasn't a crime, you know? But apparently making walls pretty is bad or something" with a final defeated shrug the Tiefling stopped talking, well, for a few seconds.

"Really? That would be super nice!" the small woman clapped a few times "but it's a bit far though... I live in Nicodranas street." she had walked for hours to get there plus the woman probably didn't want to walk with her. A big part of her wanted this new person to walk with her, though, she just really wanted to stay with her for a bit more. Maybe it was how lonely she always felt or maybe it was how calm this woman made her feel. It was just nice to talk with her...

This lady was so interesting for her it was hard to believe. Just waiting for her name she had stayed quiet waiting for an answer "Yasha? It fits you... It's beautiful" with a big smile she turned to her again "I never heard a name like that one, it's really cool" Jester looked around and stayed distracted for a moment. "I never saw a place like this" she smiled and sighed "I may come back later and paint more walls" this woman was good and nice, even if her appearance didn't seem to scream that, there was something Jester really liked about her.

Yasha was one mystery after another, she almost didn't speak and she seemed to listen to everything she said "a bodyguard? You work with anyone famous?" that was the kind of bodyguards the Tiefling knew after all. "what's your friend's name?" maybe she was asking to much but it was really hard to stop the words from coming out.

If Yasha hadn’t seen the art the young woman had made she’d have think she’d be lying to her. About being this famous graffiti artist. When she spoke about her secret she thought for a split second, was she even good with keeping secrets? She already seemed pretty open but the police hadn’t caught her and she lived in a pretty rich area of town so of course they wouldn’t think its her. Yasha was quick to question who else knew about her little secret that wasn’t so little in many ways. With more and more people finding her art and her following growing day by day once people stumbled upon it. It was in ways like Yasha own secret begin apart of the Traveling Curiosities. Was it little? Only for her a Molly. No it was far from little and I could get the Aasimar in a lot of trouble if she were caught.

“I’m done with my work for tonight so I don’t mind.” She explained. She really didn’t. The blue Tiefling interested her. In ways she reminded her of Molly. Both were colorful and very happy people. It made the woman more at easy in ways. The tension she had once was slowly going away as she walked with Jester. The more she walked with her the more Yasha relaxed and enjoyed the time with her. She listened to Jester and talked whenever she asked a question. Hearing her ask about her job she spoke with ease.

“No, no one famous.” She explained her hands in her pockets, “I protect my friend for the most part. His name is Molly. He reminds me a lot like you. He’s very happy and a out going person.” She said with a small smile, “you two could be great friends.”

Yasha walked at a steady pace. She was in no hurry. Like said she was done with her work today and she didn’t mind taking a midnight stroll, “what made you want to start graffiti?” She asked, “never thought about giving it to like, I don’t know, a museum?” She asked. It was clear that the Aasimar didn’t know much about art but what Jester did was gorgeous and a lot of people thought the same as Yasha herself. They were different and showed a lot. The detail in each one. Having a different meaning.

Jester smiled "that's awesome! We can take our time now that I know you're free" the woman was peaceful and nice and that made her want to talk and talk until she had to go. There was something about the woman that caught her eye. Something apart from her looks alone, even though those helped too. Maybe it was the silent kindness coming from her but who could be sure? Jester had no idea at all and she didn't care at all. Living in the moment was something important for her so why think about it a lot when you could get to know the person next to you.

"Well even if he's not famous he sound pretty cool. Maybe you can introduce us someday" the Tiefling said brightly and kept walking at a slow pace. Someone happy and out going was always nice because that kind of people liked her more most of the time "we could be like a big group of friends"

She turned to look at Yasha again when she spoke "well, I started because the wall in my room looked really boring" she shrugged, like it was obvious to know walls were boring most of the time. The blue girl smiled with the next question "well, I think random walls need more beauty and museums already have lots of it" she looked away "aaalso, museum people kinda hate me because they hate noise and fun in general" and that was why she got kicked out of museums more than once. It just wasn't her to stay stuck in a place to be admired, her art needed to be everywhere, when she wanted it to be and wherever she felt like it would fit.

Yasha walked at her normal pace with her hands in her pockets. This young woman was interested, but also cute in her own way. She held a brightness in her eyes that Yasha didn’t see a lot. She could say Molly but she held a different type of brightness. One that showed she cared for other dearly. Molly was different. Despite his light hearted behavior it didn’t mean the purple Tiefling could but rude at points to others or just mess with people. Jester did everything like it was prank, something that wouldn’t hit home for some people if said the wrong words. Unlike Molly who tended to try and get under their skin to mess around. The two were different but she knew they’d get along just fine.

It brought a small smile to her face at the thought and the words the blue Tiefling spoke. Yasha really questioned on how she could trust someone so easily. Yasha wasn’t exactly the most friendly face around but here she was talking to her with a bright smile on her face. It made the weight on her shoulders slightly come off, “he would like you very much. He sees himself as a famous person, he’s very...” the woman spoke trailing off to find the right words to give the Tiefling on how molly is, “out there? He has a certain confidence and likes to talk to others.” She explained the best she could. She knew it wasn’t the best way to describe someone so after a few seconds of silence she shrugged, “he’s very colorful, like you.”

Once Jester came to a quick stop in front of the Aasimar, Yasha paused quickly preventing herself from bumping into the woman. Raising an eyebrow she listened to her question being answered. It was strange to say the least and it made Yasha only have more questions on who this young woman was. Who thinks about painting their wall because it’s too boring? Maybe it was Jester’s mind as an artist? Yasha sure had no idea. She had no artistic abilities. Her body clearly showed what time of work she did. The work that required muscle and strength. To get your hands dirty. Physical work. Not sit around and draw.

A small chucked escaped her lips at the comment about the museums. This Jester girl was really something else that was for sure, “I’m sure if you bring one of your pieces in then maybe they’ll put something of yours up?” She asked as she began to walk once more. Yasha would be lying to herself if she said she wasn’t enjoying the time she was sending with the Tiefling and as they walked she’d check her phone a few times and quickly typing away on it.

Not out of disrespect Yasha spoke as she pocked it away once more, “sorry Molly keeps messaging me. I told him I was taking you home. He wants to meet you sometime. That you’re his type of person.” She said with a small smile, “he’s just worried I got lost but I told him I’d be back as soon as you were home.”

Jester listened to her with all her attention "He sounds fun! Like, I know lots of famous people and they're pretty boring... All serious and they hate pranks" she sighed. Her mother had lots of famous guests and all they had in common was that they were all boring as hell. She liked to think the only interesting person that was a guest at home was her dad but he was a mystery. "Do you think he would like to have my number so we can hang out later?" the girl said with excitement as she pulled her phone out, it was a big expensive phone with a purple fluffy cover, it was strange and so... Jester. "I think you've got good taste in friends, you know?"

"I had many pieces they rejected because they were too 'vulgar' or too 'childish'" the Tiefling rolled her eyes and let out a small sigh. It wasn't her fault they were so up tightly, and she wouldn't change those pieces, they were lots of fun "and then I caused a problem by painting a penis on a boring wall, it was a small one" she smiled "then I got kicked out. They were so boring, it wasn't like that wall was being used, you know?" thankfully her mom had payed for her mistake and everything was fine after that.

"that's so sweet" Jester exclaimed and got closer to her "also, tell him I say Hiii" she smiled and kept walking. Having friends like that was amazing, she knew it because even though she didn't have many friends the ones she had were amazing. Talking about them, she unlocked her phone, she had at least twenty notifications from her best friends "oops" she mumbled and raised her finger "Yasha, could we stop for a second? I need to call someone"

Yasha couldn’t help but have a small smile on her lips at the thought of her purple Tiefling friend, “He is a lot of fun.” She’d be lying if she said that wasn’t true. He was the one who tended to get the two of them in trouble and put them in some of the situations they were put into, but honestly, she wouldn’t change the way Molly was. The stuff they did. It made their lives...interesting. Even if the woman go angry at somethings he got himself into, in the end the two of the were laughing at the thought and the past. She would always have his back. She’d make sure of that, “let me ask him first.” She said before sending a quick message away and pocketing her phone back in her pocket.

She walked with ease next to the Tiefling listening to her talk away about her art. A small breathily chuckle. It was short chuckle and a small smile formed on Yasha’s lips once more, “I’m sure if you talk to them they could maybe get your pieces in a museum. But I think your art has more of an impact on the streets than some..fancy building.” She explained with a small circle gesture of her hands as she thought of the right words, “but I don’t think drawing a...dick, is going to help your situation.” She said with a small shrug.

Once she felt the buzz in her pocket she pulled her phone out and typed away texting what Jester had asked, “he said it was fine.” She explained. Giving Molly’s number she put her phone away once more and once they stopped walking she paused once. After Jester asked for them to stop she nodded, “yeah sure,” she said before standing a few feet away out of respect of personal space and allowing the young woman to look at the messages she received. Curiousest got the best of the different colored eyed Aasimar and after a few seconds she spoke up.

“Anything important?” The question was simple, nothing too much to ask and if the blue Tiefling didn’t want to say, Yasha wouldn’t push. While the woman stood there to read Yasha kept her eyes out for anything. They may have now been out of the most dangerous part of town but it didn’t mean it stopped the tall woman from being on edge.

Jester smirked and nodded "I knew that" she held her purse close to her sign, not to protect it but as a sign of her excitement. Her tail moved slightly and giggled. "does he know a god called the Traveller?" she asked with certain caution. Her god knew the people that were most fun, but she had to be cautios because after everything she knew he wasn't exactly accepted by normal people. They weren't but you could never know who would look at her with judgemental eyes and honestly she didn't want Yasha to look at her like she was crazy or something.

"Awesome!" she said with a happy tone. She had managed to make two friends that night, a pretty good thing if anyone asked her. The little Tiefling looked at her phone and laughed softly. Beau was worried because she had gone to her house to look for her and she wasn't. She replied quickly a few words saying she was fine and that she had met some new friends next to too many heart emojis. The girl put her phone in her purse again and looked at Yasha.

"just my friend asking if I was okay" she offered a big bright smile. Now that she thought about it, she should introduce her to Beau. "I think you should meet her, I think you're totally her type" she moved her eyebrows up and down "and if you like tough and a bit awkward girls she will be your type" after a few seconds she touched Yasha's shoulder "hey, you're okay?"

This situation was something that wasn't supposed to happen, actually it was a really bad thing. While they were on a mission the Nein weren't supposed to be apart, or at least not like this. As Jester turned to look at Cadeceus she tried to hide how nervous this made her. It wasn't lack of trust, it was the fact that they were alone and the others didn't have a cleric with them... This was bad.

No words came to mind first, the woods were starting to look a bit scary without everyone else and the blue girl was trying to stay calm as much as she could but her breaths were too fast "you think the others are okay?" the worries were clear on her voice but she still tried to not show it on her body. Who knew if they were even together? What if someone was hurt? What if they got hurt? So many questions ran through her mind. Jester took a deep breath and returned to her act, not smoothly, but it was good enough.

"Ja" she laughed "We should leave that, we weren't good at that" she shook her head "we could visit my mom and we could walk around the city"

She turned to him "you're really okay?" she asked as softly as she could. Jester was worried about him.

“No, we really weren’t.”

He hesitated before he answered her next question. He knew he shouldn’t be lying to her, he knew it was bad, but Jester needed to stay calm. 

“I’m fine. Sorry if I’m worrying you, I don’t mean to.” He paused. “Why don’t you try casting Sending again? Maybe they’ll be able to answer this time.”

She pouted and looked at him, like she was trying to see if he was lying. All Jester wanted was to make sure everyone was okay, that he wasn't breaking without telling her.

"It's okay, really. I'm worried too..." she looked down and nodded "I will do that. Maybe they were distracted." she cleared her throat, drew something in the air and started

"Hi Nott, it's Jester. Where are you? Caduceus and I are trying to fing you but we can't really know until you tell us, you know? We're worried" that was definetly too many words but they should reply now
