                  INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT NEWS ( 10 / 30 )

So, over the past few days, I’ve been thinking a lot about where I’m going with Johann as a character and what should happen to this blog. I realized I didn’t really enjoy the choice of faceclaim I chose for him and some aspects of his character I wished to change. Seeing that, I think I’m going to be archiving this blog and making a new one under the same name. I love Johann, believe me, I do. But this blog has become increasingly cluttered and I believe that should change.

So, over the next few days, I am going to start up a new blog for Johann and change some things about him. To be honest, I’m pretty tired of Johann being white as fuck and I found a new faceclaim that I’m actually really in love with ! I want Johann to be a character who makes sense in the whole aspect of RWBY, why should someone subjected to racism on a daily basis be white? So yeah, definitely changing that --- there will be a few changes to his background and his namesake but besides that, he’s still gonna be the Johann you all know and love ! So, I hope to get the new blog up soon and I hope you guys don’t mind following me over there!

                                        THOUGHTS ON RWBY VOLUME 4, EPISODE 1.

I don’t really know why I’m doing this but for the hell of it, I’m gonna be writing my thoughts on the first episode of RWBY volume 4 !! The stuff under the cut will definitely be spoilers for the show so far and is just my opinions and the sort ! So if you haven’t watched the first episode, don’t check underneath the cut !! Now then, here are my thoughts so far on the events that occurred in the episode chronologically. 

Seeing the grimm come out of the puddles of what is essentially black goo really got me thinking about their relationship to Salem ( as we later see her basically glide around like the top witch in town ) and makes me question if Salem herself is either part grimm, tbh. She definitely does look the part for it. And damn, did that environment look nice in whatever hellscape that Salem lives in, pretty impressive, in truth.

I’m never gonna forgive Roosterteeth for what they have done to Mercury, he was such a pretty boy but look at him now... he looks like a failed version at making a plastic man doll. Emerald will always look nice though, in comparison.

This table of villains has me really interested in their backstories ( and with the LOK comparison Arryn had made, I really do see where the writers might have gotten their inspirations ). We’ve got the silent and stoic type, with a nice gravely voice, we’ve got the uptight mustache who has the whole businessman feel to him, and we’ve got Junkrat. Essentially.

Cinder’s inability to talk as she used to me has me wondering what happened in the altercation between her and Ruby. What could Ruby have possibly done in such a state? What is the limit of power that the silver eyes have and will we ever see it completely? Also, what is up with Salem’s boob hole.

I heard Salem mention the White Fang and I was immediately interested. Mind you, I’m already interested in Hazel as a character, he seems motivated by some past with the Silver eyed warriors so that’s good but who is Sienna Khan? And are we gonna see more of the White Fang? I really do hope so and perhaps in a different light.

And for what is the most important part of this episode, this freckle faced beauty of a character who I am so interested in learning about. I’ve seen the theories people are coming up with and people are saying that he might be a maiden, a trans maiden !! The thought itself makes me so excited, a trans maiden is something that I’ve been hoping for so long ! I’ve also heard ideas that he might be a reincarnation of Ozpin which certainly does make me curious as well, I want to know about him !

I don’t really have much to say about the fight scene because I watched the clip before but I’m really proud of the synchronization and thought that our little team of misfits is capable of. Knowing that there are basically ghost grimm does mean some danger for our characters, so we’ll have to watch out for them in the future.

I am going to devote my life to this faunus blacksmith, I don’t think you understand how much I ?? love him?? I really hope he comes back in the future, seeing a+ his design is and beautiful he is. Also, damn, really hurt me in the heart there with the talk about Pyrrah, I’m really gonna miss the girl.

I think we all know my opinion of Weiss but damn... she poppin’....

So, these are my thoughts of the episode so far ! I’m pretty pumped for next weeks episode and most of all, I really hope that the team talks more about faunus in the RWBY universe and the White Fang !
