Junko hates the holiday season… but at least she can make it her own while she’s at school.

It starts with her birthday (December 24). She never mentions it to anyone and yet half the school seem the know it’s her birthday and she’ll even get genuinely thoughtful gifts from a couple people. Junko’s certain that Mukuro reminds everyone about it just to mess with her sister.

Then it’s Christmas. Junko likes to celebrate by staying at home watching TV. It’s depressing watching people get gifts. She doesn’t really know how else to describe it.

One year she learned about Kwanzaa and decided she was going to bunker down in her room with all the necessities she needs for a whole week, including a proper disconnect from the outside world, so no phone or social media. Just Junko in her room. It was boring and lonely but Junko would say it was peaceful.

Things are different now, though, because Junko has a sneaky link that got her some professional grade fireworks to light up for New Years. She won’t set them off inside like last year, because she wants to actually see the firework design (plus it damaged the dormitory building, it was a whole thing).

Mukuro must have heard word that Junko has fireworks again because she’s spreading the word and now apparently everyone knows and is going to come watch and there’s going to be an official Hope’s Peak Ball Drop on New Years Eve?! Junko’s stomach lurched. She always feels so weird and agitated around people during the holidays… though she’s always impressed at her peers’ ability to put something together last-minute.

Makoto told Junko it’s almost like she has what he calls “holiday spirit”.

Holiday spirit? Bleh.

Still… if “holiday spirit” is watching shit blow up in the sky and not get in trouble for it, then maybe Junko is willing to play along.

It's better than the Danganronpa franchise!

Notably better, but not the BEST installment by Kodaka

Hey all! It's been a while, hasn't it? For those who don't know me, I am @canondanganronpaheadcanons, in which I like to make canon Danganronpa headcanons that are canon, as well as review YOUR headcanon submissions to see if they fit the vibecheck. My HC's are typically based in the slice-of-life AU where there were never any killing games and they all go to school together, but not always. I'm familiar with the vast majority of DR characters, including Another Episode and DR 3, though mind that I have not read any of the DR novels or comics. Sometimes there are memes and tierlists and other random danganronpa-related things that I find funny. I keep things pretty PG-13 and am not normally interested in writing heavy romantic or sexual content. For that reason, I tend to focus on platonic relationships. Anyways, I've been getting back into Kodaka's game "Rain Code" which has reignited my desire to check in on this blog. So, uh... yeah! I hope you all are well. I am still alive. -Canon

How many Ryomas can fit inside a Hifumi?

So, I did some BS math that I don’t even know if it’s correct but I tried

First, I calculated the rough volume of Hifumi’s belly based off his chest size. Had to do some ratio stuff with pixels to centimeters. I then determined his belly would be a sphere and calculated its volume in meters. THEN I thought making his chest an ellipsoid was fitting so I had to fudge the numbers a bit to get all three axes/but I called them radii. Combing the two volumes gives you 7.21 m cubed.

Next I was gonna try to do cool math with Ryoma but I gave up and turned him into a very simple rectangular prism. Used the same chest ratio trick with a side view sprite to determine how wide he was. Made him into a rectangle. Boom, volume of 0.45 m cubed because he is small.

Then I just divided to see how many times 0.45 would go into 7.21. Highly inaccurate I’m sure but it was a funny math exercise. Again, I’m sure this is all wrong.
