so i was reading up on aspd so i could get a better grip on pests character right??? im a big fat partybeetle shipper, so getting both of their personalities right is yk. big. and im rly bad at that.

ok so. ive (ofc) been thinking of pests motivation for being a relationship with poob. i dont see them necessarily caring about dating activities or whatever (yk what i mean), instead being in it to protect them from literally everything. (dating them is a great excuse to spend more time with them, therefore being able to observe and protect them from their 1 billion kajillion enemies. real sexy ik).
but anyways. turns out getting into relationships for personal gain is certainly a behavior linked with aspd. idk how realistic it is or whatever, and i do tend to mischaracterize both of them a LOT (mostly by making them both a lot softer, although i am trying my best to add in pests sharpness and poobs depth overall. im not a very sassy person myself so rejection doesnt rly come naturally to me)
also id love to quiz BOTH OF THEM abt how they feel attraction cuz being acespec is so complicated and different depending on the person. its way more than just sex. im a strong believer that their relationship is a qpr rather than actually dating, but that still brings up physical affection, openess for seeing other ppl, emotional intimacy, and so on.
also POOB. oh partynoob. i feel like its so easy to mischaracterize them, especially with sex n shit. i feel like its so normal to think party = sex. they engage in a shit ton of casual intimacy. however, they are ACE!
so, that comes into question how do they respond to it?? i think they are all over simple forms of physical affection with like literally anyone. theyre a hugger. they like holding hands. theyd noogie ppl. but like, societially romantic things i think theyd be more cautious with? i think theyd be like an elementary schooler when it comes to kissing on the lips. thats the bag for them.
i can see them being peer pressured to kiss ppl at parties, but i dont think thatd happen too often. i think theyd talk to uno dos and tres abt them being uncomfortable and theyd like... nudge ppl who do it more casually like "hey... they arent rly into that"
as for pest i dont think they give two shits. if he did itd be more in a negative light. highly depends on his mood. for kissing specifically i think theyd be into it vaguely. again, depends on if hes feeling freaky or not. i dont think hed think about it without being prompted tho.
ive completely derailled my train of thought a lot. im gonna write fanfic now and try to refine my ponderings a bit more.
pest has edges. those are more sharp and prominent than any gentle bit of him.
